Laura was absolutely outstanding at my wedding in Huntsville, Alabama last weekend. My mom and I had a list of a ton of songs we wanted for the ceremony and she knew all of them. Additionally she performed during our cocktail hour and had a great list of fun contemporary songs to perform that were all outstanding.
I'm under the opinion that live music is always the way to go for an event, and I couldn't have chosen a better person for the job.

When working with Laura and Levon, I received absolute professionalism. They honestly made me feel like I was their top client. The first call I made to Laura, she was so warm and inviting. They were so responsive and very well informing with every question I asked (I asked ALOT). She was clear and concise when she ran through the cost of everything. When I wanted to make additions later on, she was so amazing with meeting my needs and informed me of the cost after the initial quote. Laura was so wonderful when it came to my music selection as well. She provided me with a list of songs and had no issues when I asked for songs outside of their selected list. I was absolutely blown out of the park with how they handled one of my specific requests. I requested our exit song to be dance forever by Chris Brown. They weren’t able to play the piece with just the cello and violin so in return to make sure my needs were met, she went out of her way to contact our DJ and asked him to play a track with their cello & violin so it would come out beautifully, and it did! I am still receiving complements from our guests about the joyous music from our wedding ceremony. I was told that there were lots of happy tears in the room once the music started. They contributed to my dream destination wedding in a HUGE way! I can’t brag enough about this duo because they go above and beyond for their clients.

I got Vérité Strings to play for a funeral ceremony and celebration of life event and I was in awe! The trio helped make the ceremony so special by finding and learning songs requested by the family. They were willing to work with our vocalist. They brought a piano in for one of the songs. They just went above and beyond to make the day perfect. I directly worked with Laura Raymond who was so great and extremely helpful. She made my job so easy! I will definitely work with them again. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. They were just perfect!!

Although I needed to book a quartet for our son’s wedding ceremony on a shorter that normal time frame Laura was most accommodating . She worked with me on timing and the number of musicians as well as selected our songs to be played for both the ceremony as well as cocktail hour for the reception. It was perfect and added just the right atmosphere. I highly recommend using this professional group for any occasion.

It’s been two weeks since our special day which Verite Strings made even more special. I could have listened all night long! Both are very professional, explain everything very detailed, are fantastic with special song requests (for us it was ‘Danger Zone’ ;-) ) and they assure you that the day will be unforgettable. Since we live out of State we arranged online “meetings” which we really enjoyed. They made the planning seem easy and effortlessly. We loved the provided recommendations as well as additional lists with beautiful songs to choose from. We are happy to have met such a wonderful and talented couple and we hope to see them again at a future event 🎻🎼🥰

Where do I start! Having the dream team at your wedding is everyone's dream. I am blessed that I had the Verite Strings at my wedding, they made so many parts of my wedding dream come true. Carrying my son down the isle to a song by The Little Mermaid brought so much joy to his face. We were so excited to use Verite Strings for our ceremony but sadly hidden fees that were not listed in contract was a big disappointment. We were also not given any package options, but then were told we didn’t pick the right package for our needs? Confusing. Just be aware to ask ALL questions before booking because not everything is in the contract.

Our packages are built directly on our clients needs. We received your message stating your needs, set up a phone call to discuss the details further, and then sent a detailed contract based on the needs you described to us in both the message and phone call. The contract you signed and agreed to included everything we had discussed up to that point. It is always a good idea to ask any questions you may have BEFORE signing a contract. However, after booking us, you asked to add an additional service to your package. There were no hidden fees. You asked for a paid service to be delivered for free which was out of the scope of our agreement. When wanting to add services/performances after signing and agreeing, we are happy to oblige but must charge additionally for anything not already included in the signed agreement. As stated many times, we are more than happy to offer solutions that fit within the parameters of our client’s budget. However, we can not offer high-end services for free that the rest of our clientele has paid for. This is not only to protect the integrity of our business but to ensure each of our customers is treated with an equitable amount of respect, fairness, and professionalism.
Vérité Strings was exactly what we were looking for for our intimate wedding ceremony! They did a great job listening to our needs, advising us on which song selections would be best for each part of the ceremony, and on top of all of that, played beautifully! When my wife and I were planning our wedding, we had no idea what to look for when it came to hiring musicians. We were told to check out Vêrité Strings to get the information we needed and possibly even book them for the gig.
They were unable to perform at the wedding due to another performance obligation... But they didn't leave us hanging! Instead, they found and hired another set of musicians AND took care of all the planning and logistics for getting them prepared and at the gig on time!
All we had to do was provide them with a time and place for the wedding and payment. They took care of everything else, and the musicians they provided for us were FANTASTIC! They really set the mood for the service and overdelivered on everything we asked for.

Levon Margaryan is an Armenian-born violinist renowned for his extraordinary musical talents and skills, with a career marked by solo and chamber music exposure. With a string of accolades to his name, Levon has garnered recognition for his exceptional violin excellence, winning prestigious awards and prizes both nationally and internationally.
In 2007, Levon embarked on a transformative journey to the United States, where he participated in the esteemed Starling-DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies and Master Classes at the Juilliard School of Music. Under the guidance of prodigies such as Itzhak Perlman, Donald Weilerstein, and Kurt Sassmannshaus, he honed his craft and was awarded a full scholarship to Roosevelt University, Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA), studying under the tutelage of the renowned professor and concert violinist Vadim Gluzman.
Levon's talent and dedication culminated in winning the CCPA Concerto Competition, earning him a solo performance at the prestigious Harris Theater for Music and Dance at Millennium Park, Chicago.
