I've been playing for 40+ years, and my repertoire includes Broadway hits, American Songbook standards, popular music from the '50s-'90s, jazz, tango, new age, and classical.

I'm also a church organist, available for services, weddings and funerals.
Katherine played the musical interludes for the funeral service of a person with wide ranging musical tastes. Katherine provided invaluable support and assistance in compiling musical selections reflective of the tastes and temperament of a much-loved decedent. The service was graciously and professionally enhanced by her participation, as confirmed by comments from attendees after the service.

I couldnt have wished for better or more. Katherine was very communicative from the git go. On the night of our Open House, she arrived early to familiarize herself with the space and the piano and then played the overall program we discussed, and was receptive to requests. She really plays beautifully; a joy to have the house filled with her talent. When the evening ran long, she agreed to extend. I'll definitely be hearing more from her!

Katherine is a lovely woman, excellent organist and the most imminently adaptable professional I have ever had the pleasure to know. With only 24 hour's notice, Katherine was able to provide my family with the heart-felt music of her inspiration and our requests to ease the loss of my Aunt Susan. I found out on Thursday at 9 p.m. that our church organist would not be able to provide music at my Aunt's funeral on Saturday a.m. I thought I would need to make dozens of calls, but thanks to Katherine and Gigsalad, my worries were alieved in short order. Katherine was available, was knowledgeable of 95% of the music we requested and was able to find the one hymn with which she was not familiar in short order. What a supreme blessing to have a knowledgeable, professional, compassionate person to ease our hearts and minds!

If you're looking for an elegant, flexible, and upbeat musician, you've come to the right place! I make it a point to listen to the customer's needs, and to do my very best to give you what you want. I'm very easy to work with.
I usually take a short break every hour and a half, if a gig lasts longer than that. Otherwise, I'm happily playing the music I enjoy! I also love playing for holiday sing-alongs.
Katherine has had her fingers on piano keys since she started lessons at four years old. She plays background music during the summer at Clay Hill Farm Restaurant, an elegant five-star restaurant in Cape Neddick, Maine, and enjoys playing for private parties, wedding receptions, and other events. She has played piano for ballet classes for many years, and also accompanies voice and instrumental student recitals.
Katherine is also a church organist, and is available for weddings and funerals. She is classically trained, but also enjoys playing jazz, tango, Broadway, oldies, and ragtime.
