About
VHS Bio
VHS - The Ultimate '90s Party Band
VHS is more than just a tribute band—it’s a time machine back to the most groundbreaking, influential, and artistic decade since the '60s: the '90s. Founded by lifelong friends and musicians Zack Walther (vocals, guitar) and Matthew Briggs (vocals, drums), VHS was born from a deep love for the music that shaped their teenage years. After playing together professionally for 25 years, most notably with the Zack Walther Band, their passion for '90s music began to resurface in their live shows. The demand from fans was undeniable: they needed a tribute dedicated to the best music of the '90s.
Joined by Josh Holden (vocals, bass) and Pancho Garza (lead guitar), VHS brings to life the biggest hits from across the entire decade. Whether it’s Rock/Pop, Hip-Hop, or Country, this band covers it all—playing songs from The Black Crowes to Britney Spears, George Strait to Vanilla Ice, and everything in between.
What truly sets VHS apart is their commitment to authenticity. Unlike other popular cover bands that rely on recorded tracks, VHS is the real deal because every note and beat is performed live. Their shows are more than just a nostalgic playlist—they are fully immersive, high-energy performances that get the audience singing, dancing, and partying all night long.
Whether it’s a public or private event, VHS always delivers that “BEST NIGHT EVER!!!” reaction. For private bookings, the band offers a customizable experience, allowing clients to pick their favorites from the song list to the arrangement of the band. In addition, VHS can also provide full light and sound production, making the easy to work with for that “one-stop-shop” experience.
Relive the '90s with VHS and experience the ultimate party, guaranteed to keep the crowd rocking all night long!
Available for public and private events!
