Dave is a complete professional and a terrific musician. My event was a small backyard party but Dave treated it as if it were a major gig. He kept the party lively with a variety of music and his rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend using him for your next gathering, big or small.

David Economos was our choice for our daughter's cocktail hour because he not only plays the steel drum, but also the marimba (aka vibes). Dave spoke with me as soon as we booked with GigSalad (which was nearly 18 months before the wedding date) and we spoke about the details of the affair, the timing, the type of songs we might want, etc. He took time with me on the telephone and asked pertinent questions regarding our likes/dislikes, about the venue, etc. Several weeks before the wedding, Dave called me to verify that nothing had changed and we discussed a few numbers we would like to hear. He said he would do all possible to accommodate us and he did. He played "Never on Sunday" which I love, as well as a great selection of beachy tunes (the reception venue is on the Great South Bay), and he was dressed in his Hawaiian-style shirt and khaki pants. Dave arrived well ahead of the start of the cocktail hour to determine where to set up, etc. The guests loved having the Caribbean-flavored live music on the outside terrace rather than recorded music piped from inside, or no music at all. We received numerous compliments regarding Dave's performance. He was a great addition to the wedding entertainment and he was very easy to work with. We highly recommend Dave without any reservations.

David played the steel drum at our ceremony and I wanted to walk down the aisle to the Ave Maria. It was not a song David played before but he said he could learn it. Not only did David learn it…it was so beautiful, sacred, and delicate, that it brought chills to myself, my husband, and all our guests!! Anyone who hears it, will want it for their special day...that's how beautiful and powerful he plays it!! Weeks later, I still have people saying it was one of the nicest ceremonies they have been to. David's talent playing the steel drum is not only beautiful, but very classy as well!!! David also played at our cocktail hour. He knew the party would not be stopping at its original venue. We had 25 people joining us for an extended celebration in Jamaica! David’s talent continued to shine through, he played Caribbean music the entire cocktail hour really setting the tone to getting everyone excited to board the plane for Jamaica!!! I booked Dave and Vibe-brations Entertainment on 2 seperate occassions and cant say enough good thongs about the experience. I used him a few years back for entertainment at my high school reunion and since it was a luau theme, daves steel drums really made the party. Recently, i booked Dave for the cocktail hr for my wedding and eveyone loved him. He played all the songs we requested and really set the tone for the party. Prices were very reasonable as well compared to other percussionists. Highly recommend Dave and cant wait to book him for our next event!

My daughter and I had heard Dave at a bridal showcase last year. She loved him at first sound. I knew then we had to book him for her wedding. He far exceeded all our expectations.
