Vicki was phenomenal at my son’s 7th birthday. She did some beautiful unicorn designs for the girls and all kinds of cool zombie, Spider-Man and venom designs for the boys. My kids were so happy, and a few parents also got their face painted as well. Vicki arrived early and had quite the assortment of face paint options to use. Her energy was so sweet. The kids and parents loved her. She’s talented and has a gift with people. I would happily book her again.
Vicki was amazing. Her work was outstanding and everyone was left impressed.
From the beginning Vicki was extremely punctual and wanted to work with us on making our daughters birthday special. The Frozen themed designs were a nice touch and everything else was splendid as well. Her sign-up sheet was never empty and kids were genuinely excited to have their faces painted.
THANK YOU!!
Response from Vicki's MasCharade:
Thank you for such kind words! Your daughter’s birthday was delightful and all the children were such joys to paint.
Thank you again for selecting me to join in celebrating such a magical day!
Not only is Vicki a talented artist, but her demeanor with kids and the parents was perfect.

Hi, I'm Vicki. I am a fully insured woman-owned small business owner. Art is my passion. I remain current with the latest body art trends and techniques taught by some of the top professionals in the Face, Body and Entertainment Art Industry.
How it all began....
My love for body art began numerous years ago when I was a teenager. It all started when I was inspired by a couple of clowns - literally. I used to dress as a clown as part of a youth ministry program with my parish and loved it! Whenever I was bored at home (before the days of internet), I would paint my face, my sister's faces, the faces of the children in my neighborhood ... anyone I could get my hands on! Throughout college, I volunteered as a face painter for local celebrations in my community. Fast forward a decade or (cough) few ... I rediscovered my love of body art with a focus on face painting, custom made body jewelry, and glitter applications. I am a mom of two teenagers and remain an active member within my community where I live, work, and play.
What makes my services unique?
Each child that gets into my chair is unique and special, and I treat them that way. The few scant minutes they have with me in my chair is their "me time", my attention is 100% on that child, not on the long line, the parents talking, the surrounding distractions, and so on. I interact with your child, it isn't just about face painting, it is about the experience.
I have a very calm, soothing yet playful demeanor that has proven to be effective with both troubled youth and special needs children alike - with an emphasis on Autism, Sensory Processing, and ADHD. I watch for body cues and encourage each child to be part of the design process within their own personal comfort zone. The child is in complete control of the situation, including choosing their own design that they want to have (its just paint, not a gender).
I will never paint a child if they are under duress or asleep. I will never touch a child that does not want to be touched, and (to some parent's disappointment) I will never force a child to be painted if they do not want to be. This is my oath.
Why do I do it?
What motivates me to paint is the joy on a child's face during the "great reveal". To see a child, transformed to their vision of who they want to dress up to be, is nothing short of magical. It is for this reason I decided to turn my passion into a business.
I will bring everything I need for my set-up with me, including table, chairs and, if outdoors, a canopy
at no additional charge. I require a 10ftx10ft flat, level area if outdoors for the canopy, indoors requires approximately 6ft x7ft.
If this is a booking for a private party, I will also bring a sign-up sheet for participants and call them when it is their turn. This way, children can be playing vs standing in line.
My average face paint speed is approximately 12-20 faces per hour, depending on complexity.
My disclaimers to ensure the safety and happiness of all participants:
Please allow plenty of space for me to paint faces, crowding makes it more difficult for everyone.
Please don’t touch any of the equipment or allow your children to do so either
I never paint anyone who does not want to be painted. This includes sleeping or crying children.
I will not paint faces of children under 2 years old or that are under duress or cannot sit still in the seat.
Clean faces make beautiful faces! For safe hygiene practices, please wipe noses & mouths before being seated for painting.
For health safety reasons, I cannot paint people who appear to be suffering from open wounds, cold sores, chicken pox, measles, mumps, runny noses, conjunctivitis, infectious skin conditions, eczema or appear unwell.
Face paint can be easily removed with soap and water or a makeup removal product.
Depending on skin type, some colors may linger on the skin (typically greens and reds)
I only use cosmetic grade products. Although unlikely, I cannot guarantee a reaction will not occur. If you are concerned, please ask for a swatch test. I will paint a quick design on the underside of the wrist at no charge. Wait 30 minutes and if there is no reaction, return to the line.
