We arrive 1-1/12 hours prior to event. We set up in 30-45 minutes. There will be 3-4 camera operators, with usually an additional floating or stationary camera. We are mobile with our equipment and try to be ion as many places at once as possible. We capture moments such as the Grand Entrance from a minimum of 3 angles, usually with a 4th camera outside filming the waiting Bridal Party . We do guest interviews if desired, can body mic the preacher or groom during the service, have additional on camera lights if needed during "dark Mood" dances (but won't disturb the ambience if used). We are very careful NOT to be in the way of the still photographer, the DJ, or the party goers.
We remain until the final dancing begins after all the timeline events are done. We pack up our equipment quietly and out of the way.
The client can see the video usually within a 2-3 month period.

I am a New York native and a veteran in the entertainment industry. A graduate (Valedictorian) of New York's famed High School for the Performing Arts and student of the prestigious theatre department at Carnegie-Mellon University, my experience onstage and off, in live and recorded performances spans 50 years.

Formed in 1977, RBK Color Video was the brainchild of myself and my husband, Rob.
Video production was barely in its infancy, yet I had the vision and belief that Video (or film) was the Best Way to : get your message across, Show You Live Performances, and generally offer viewers an Experience, visually and emotionally. I gained experience shooting
on location from both the perspective of director and actor of both “home” movies (mostly with her son Randy, born in 1980) and professional video shoots (focused on actors and performers), giving me an unquestionable advantage prior to the advent of the VCR and handheld camcorder. The “Internet”, “Google”, and “Youtube” were not on the horizon for many more years. RBK was the First Video Production Company in Los Angeles.

I gained yet another perspective of the entertainment industry when co-founding Travel Magic, a full-service travel agency with her husband in 1985. Along with the birth of my second son Ryan in 1986, my management, direction, and on-location skills flourished.

In a way barely even possible for most 80s moms, I documented both my sons' (and parents') lives “just at the house” as well as on exotic trips to places like Alaska, San Diego, Puerto Vallarta, Maui, and Cannes. I produced “The Real World” with "brilliant candid " videography before MTV was even incorporated.

As social media and video sharing started to grow on the internet, I would always be a step ahead of the competition, acquiring and mastering every single tool available to videographers.

In 2008, I founded VideoMagic Productions, virtually my old RBK Color Video revamped for the 21 century. Just like in the late 70s, I was already ahead of the competition, learning the newest green screen and editing technology before “do-it-yourself” apps existed. I continues to use my experience (in front of and behind the camera) and knowledge to bring the most unique perspective to not just my video
shoots, but edits and fixes that make my works truly incredible.

I have always worked towards perfecting any endeavor with which I am involved. Hungry for knowledge, growth, and striving for unlimited possibilities.
Have reinvented myself several times. From a student, to a professional working actress, a wife and mother, owner of a Travel Agency, started Video Production Company, became an online entrepeneur, business coach and mentor.
My goal is to inspire others to reach for their greatness; and discover,explore and nurture their many talents, with video.
Having a lifetime of experience on both sides of the "camera", I can help virtually anyone or any business bridge the gap from traditional advertising to the powerful medium of online video marketing.
An event planner or any client can expect the utmost level of professionalism, customer service, high quality Videos or Photos from start to finished product. We offer a 3-4 camera crew for most special occasions, arrive 1 1/2 hours early, capture footage of the main events while also getting the "behind the scenes" candid footage. We use High res equipment/cameras, have boom mics for clearer audio, as well as several lav body mics (to mic the preacher or groom if desired). We also use a wireless interview mic for guest interviews. The audio is awesome. I also provide as an added bonus, a video/photo montage as part of the finished video. This is done for both the ceremony/service and the celebration/party.
We have LED on camera lights if needed but not necessary.
Most importantly, my team of videographers is there to film the special moments happening yet NOT to get in the way. We are like a fly on the wall. With our high end zoom cameras, we can be well on the other side of the room while capturing action in close up.I do not believe in stopping the momentum just to ask for that "pose" or "Look this way".
We offer full editing, upload to social media, burn to HD DVD's, and highlight reels if requested.

Video is my passion and capturing special moments that only occur Once is my forte and my mission. I truly believe that video is the way to remember the entire experience by hearing the laughter, seeing the tears, and watching Yourself in those moments when you were too involved in other things to "be there".
