Juan is a highly accomplished violinist, recognized for his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft. With performances in prestigious venues such as the Leon Tolstoi Hall and the Philharmonic of Bogota Recital Hall, Juan has established himself as one of the top 1% of graduating violinists in his class. He has collaborated with renowned orchestras including the Philharmonic of Bogota and the National Symphony of Colombia, as well as esteemed soloists like Sarah Chang and Melissa White. Juan’s passion for baroque music has led to performances with notable ensembles such as the Baroque Ensemble of the National University of Colombia and Concerto Italiano. In addition to his performances, Juan is a dedicated educator, having contributed to various educational projects and served as a strings teacher for Salem-Keizer Public Schools, teaching assistant at Valdosta State University and the University of Alabama. Juan holds a Bachelor's degree from the National University of Colombia, a Master's degree from Valdosta State University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Alabama.
