We booked Calvin for our wedding to play the ceremony and cocktail hour as a solo violinist. Prior to the event he gave a list of examples of classical pieces he could play that would fit the setting as well as recommending which ones would be best for the processional. We choose our processional song and the rest we left up to him. He intuitively knew what and when to play and also when to stop playing for the processional and recessional. He then entertained our guests and we got rave reviews of his playing from all of them. Calvin is a master of his craft and very easy to work with. My only regret is I was not organized enough to thank him personally before he left.
