Vital & Drown offers an amazing variety of song selections ranging from the 1970’s to present day. Our sets do not limit to a certain genre, but instead include all genres for all musical tastes. With a catalog of over 150 songs, and always growing, we can perform a full night of Dance, Rock, Easy Listening or a mix of everything.
We offer a FULL BAND SOUND for a more affordable price! Weddings, Clubs, Private Parties, Corporate Events.
Or if preferred, we can also perform with just two voices and an acoustic guitar, for the quiet and more intimate events. Restaurants, Cocktail Hours, Ceremonies.

CHRIS VITAL - Guitars/Vocals
Chris started playing drums at the early age of five, picked up guitar and keyboards at age ten and has been performing professionally since 1983.
Over the years Chris has played with many bands including Axis, Jack Nasty, Vital, Touch, Strutt, Grammas Pajammas, Catch 22, Flip Top Head, Guilty Pleasure, FlashMob and the Kulprits. More recently, Chris toured with recording artist GabrieLa (Gabbie Rae) along the East & West Coasts providing direct support for such artists as Vince Neil, Y&T, KIX, Vixen & Dio Disciples.
In 2010, Chris began performing solo and duo/trio acoustic venues across Southern New England fine-tuning his unique guitar licks and powerful vocals. Chris enjoys playing all styles of music including Rock, Pop, Country, R&B, Funk, Dance and even Disco!

WENDY DROWN - Vocals
Hailing from Hartford, CT, Wendy began singing professionally at age 13. From 1989 to 1994, she performed around the country, singing with RI based Top 40 cover band XPO. In 1995, Wendy settled in Providence, RI and joined the area’s premier wedding band, “Cover to Cover”.
At that time, Wendy also began a 20+ year career as a professional jingle artist and lent her vocals to hundreds of regional and national commercials and television shows including “Nurse Jackie” and MTV’s, “The Hills”.
In 2012, Wendy and a few area musicians who were also lifelong friends including Chris Vital created “FlashMob” which became a top and in-demand Rhode Island based Rock Cover Band.
Wendy’s love of Rock & Roll made this current venture one of her proudest and most enjoyable. In addition, to reuniting with Chris Vital to form this new duo, “Vital & Drown”, she also is a current member of the Boston Wedding and Event Band, “Search Party.”
