Viva la Strings

We hired Viva La Strings to play at our outdoor wedding event last weekend, and they did not disappoint! The quartet received so many compliments from our guests, and took impromptu song requests from several. The talent was superb and their arrangement and execution of “In My Life” (Beatles) was, without question, the best I’ve ever heard! They are responsive and accommodating! I would give them 10 stars if it were an option!

We had Jacob and his team play at our wedding and they were amazing. Right on time, music was well picked. Really added such a touch of class to the event and everyone really enjoyed them being there.

Viva la Strings was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding in November. I had a specific song in mind that I wanted to walk down the aisle to and they went the extra mile to have the song arranged for us! The string quartet added an extra special touch to our wedding and many of our guests told us how much they loved the music for the ceremony. While I waited in the balcony to walk down the aisle I started to tear up the second I heard our arranged song start. Thank you so much for making our day so wonderful!!

Viva La Strings provided the most elegant string quartet at our most recent wedding. As a venue, we often see live music, but they blew us away! What struck me the most was their flexibility! The couple changed their minds a few times and they were ready for any of it! They even found a piece for the prelude a week before the wedding! They were also easy to work with as accompaniment for the vocalist

We chose to hire Viva La Strings for our wedding ceremony in Columbus in June, 2018. Throughout the entire process, Pendra and the musicians were very easy to work with, very responsive and willing to play all the music that we wanted. We worked together to create the set list, and we were very happy with it because it was so personal to us. Viva La Strings was also very flexible and willing to work with the pianist at our church, and they even got together to rehearse so that they were very comfortable with the music. They even provided a lot of the music to him themselves. I very much appreciated that the musicians communicated with him on their own and didn't worry me with anything! Many of our guests compared our wedding ceremony music to a small concert, and they couldn't say enough positive things about the music. We loved working with Viva La Strings, and would recommend them to anyone looking for musicians for a wedding ceremony or event!

Their prices were more than reasonable, they were extremely responsive over email, and the music was just beautiful. Like a dream. I’ve received so many compliments on how beautiful the music at my wedding was.
In addition, they were incredibly open to song requests and created their own arrangement (for an extremely reasonable price) when there wasn’t one suitable for purchase.
There was one small mix-up regarding the piano players schedule for the reception, but Viva la Strings reached out to us immediately after to remedy the mistake and offer us a partial refund.

I highly recommend Viva La Strings with absolutely no reservations. They were the easier vendor I worked with for my wedding and they made it a dream come true.

Viva La Strings was an important aspect of the wedding! We hired them to play for the ceremony (pre-ceremony also) and during the cocktail hour. The musicians were obviously talented and the music was beautiful! We received a lot of positive feedback and compliments after the wedding that included statements like "The string quartet MADE the wedding!", and another, "It was so classy! Loved having them play." I'll add that Pendra was exceptionally responsive to my request and questions. I selected this group sight unseen, sound unheard and couldn't have been happier! Well done, Viva La Strings! Viva La Strings was wonderful at my wedding. Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to listen to them during the cocktail hour since we were taking pictures, but I heard they were great. Many commented on how "elegant" the wedding was, and I know the Viva La Strings trio played a big part in that. Thank you!

Viva La Strings played for our daughter’s wedding on June 1, 2014. We could not have been more pleased. During the planning process they were always quick to respond to our many requests. And only about 10 days before the wedding, they complied with my request to find a mandoline player for one particular song, and he did an outstanding job. They played 1/2 hour of prelude music, which we were easily able to choose from their lists of songs they knew, but we requested a special song for the bride’s processional, one that had special meaning between the bride & me, her mom. They learned the song from our piano sheet music, found a harmonica player (integral to the song) and did a beautiful job. I was able to go and hear them during a rehearsal of our specific music the Sunday before the wedding. Pendra & Kristen were great- we are 100% satisfied and will use them again when our 2nd daughter ties the knot.

Viva La Strings recently performed at my mothers 80th birthday party. They provided a playlist before the event, were prompt and professional and played masterfully. The music gave the event a lovely atmosphere. People could enjoy the music and each other. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

They played beautifully at my wedding. My only complaint was that they were not very friendly with the mother of the bride or mother of the groom.

Their classical music creates a sophisticated mood, but they're also flexible enough to play Motown! I've also heard them do special arrangements with folk singers and guitarists ~ sweet.

They're nice ladies and a pleasure to work with.
