VIOLINIST who plays alone (solo) on acoustic violin or 5 string electric and with cello. I/We can play amplified with our own small speaker system, which can be used outdoors without electric.

We are long established in greater Morgantown, WV as a string duet, and have performed for over 700 hundred social gatherings.
We are the most sought after professional social gathering--wedding music ceremony and reception specialists in the greater Morgantown area for over twenty five years. We are professionally trained.
Virginia, our leader, holds a Ph.D. in Music. The cellist has been skillfully trained in conservatory settings and hold work beyond her Master's degree in cello performance and music.
We are also very experienced violin, viola and cello teachers.
We are very good friends, have fun playing for events, and have played together for nearly 25 years. We do everything we can to make your special musical dreams come true in a live-fun setting. We are approachable, fun and kind and often referred to as sweet.
All musical styles and requests considered. We will perform any music you request if we can obtain sheet music for the pieces so we are in compliance with copyright.
We will perform with singers or other musicians, by arrangement, and if they can read music.

We play for anyone for any reason. LGBTQ+ friendly..... Love is Love. We are happy to be there for you. Get in touch. We love playing for others, and folks are wowed by what we do. Surprise your guests at a wedding. We are there for you and surprise folks often! It's fun, it's very classy and it's important to have live music on your wedding day.

Add our very classy and classic live music to enhance the experience of your special day. Weddings, receptions, engagement parties, surprise events, anniversaries, corporate events and award dinners, memorial services, and any other social event. Our versatile elegant music is the perfect addition to your day.

We will play outdoors for your events, but we must be shaded from direct sun for our instruments, and we can be under a tent, on a porch edge, under a shade tree (with leaves) etc. Temperatures for outdoor performances need to be above 60 degrees f. It is very very difficult to press steel strings down on an ebony fingerboard or to play well with cold hands. Our instruments also react adversely to extreme weather so we need to be playing in weather above 60 degrees. Our instruments are old, beautiful and very fragile. Under no circumstances will be play in snow or rain. We only need two armless chairs. We are usually acoustic, but we can bring along our small speaker and play amplified.

We have performed in barns, on horse or family farms, under trees in the woods, on mountaintops, in tents, in churches, in synagogues, in Greek Orthodox churches, on porches, on formal concert stages, in mansions, in family yards, at waterfalls, at wineries, at botanic gardens, in elegant restaurants, in classic old hotels, in museums, and more.

If we are performing for longer than 2 hours, we will need a brief 5-10 minute break every 90 minutes.

We are happy to play complete weddings that include the ceremony, the cocktail hour as your guests mingle, and the dinner. We are happy to move from location to location to do this. We make events memorable.

We can play most any music you request. As professionals, we do not and cannot take music from youtube videos and cannot and will not violate copyright.

Travel: we will travel up to two or two-and-one-half hours one way drive to your event. However travel fees and mileage will be applied. Ask if we are available to play your area. We play most of West Virginia except southern WV, western Maryland including Cumberland, Frostburg and all of Garrett County, Deep Creek/McHenry, and Oakland, MD, Southwestern Pennsylvania including Bedford Springs, Seven Springs, to Latrobe, Somerset, and all along route 40--anywhere within 2 hours drive of 26505.
