Audiences are treated to delectable live performances that touch the heart and tickle the funny bone. Professional instrumental musicians are also booked through us that can provide high quality background music for your event.
Vivace Voices specializes in live performances for a variety of events such as private parties, weddings, funerals, corporate events etc. Types of performances are vary from musical theater to classical music, from background music provided by solo instrumentalists or small ensembles. We can refer you to bands as well. During the holidays The Fireside Carolers provide a cappella entertainment in either a concert type setting or a background setting. They stroll or stand in one place depending on the needs of the client or the space restrictions of the event. The L'Chaim Ensemble can provide entertainment for anyone celebrating Hanukkah. We even have an original family holiday musical called "Where in the World is Santa?" that can delight children and adults alike.
Our performers have performed world wide and have a wealth of experience and expertise in their field. Some have worked with such stars as Jason Alexander, and even Bob Hope, been directed by the great Leonard Bernstein and starred on Broadway. Our talented performers have an extensive list of credits that varies according to the type of performances chosen by our clients. Classical singers have won competitions in their field and also have an impressive list of credits.
Most performances require a piano in the performance space unless you are hiring our professional caroling group during the holidays. IF you are booking a solo instrumentalist, they will provide what they will need unless it's a solo pianist. Sometimes electronic keyboards can be used for some performances but not for classical or musical theater bookings. IF performers are traveling 30 miles or more from the Portland Oregon metro area, mileage and sometimes food and lodging might need to be included in the fee depending on the travel time and distance from Portland.

The Fireside Carolers perform standard carols and holiday songs but with our own special flare. Holiday favorites like White Christmas and Jingle Bells (are own special take on Jingle Bells is called Jive'n Jingle Bells arranged for our octet only ) are performed.

“Simply Love” is a warm-hearted and clever evening filled with sparkle. As we all know, love is hardly “simple” but 2 gifted performers give a dynamic presentation dealing with love’s ups and downs from a woman’s perspective. You’ll hear favorites such as “Marry the Man Today”, “I Wish I Were In Love Again”, “My Funny Valentine” and “Our Love Is Here To Stay”, as well as the brilliant music of Stephen Sondheim and Shire & Maltby. You’ll laugh and perhaps even shed a tear or two, as you listen to some of the most beautiful and humorous music written for the Broadway stage.

“Love Is Here To Stay” is a delightful look at music from the great composers of the stage and screen, which will warm your hearts as talented performers lead you on a wonderful journey both in dialogue and song. You’ll love hearing some of the most wonderful and romantic music written by greats such as Rodgers and Hart, Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein, George and Ira Gershwin, Bock and Harnick and of course Rodgers and Hammerstein. This show is perfect for Valentine’s celebrations as well as anniversaries and weddings.
Here Comes The Ballad (a one-woman show)
“Here Comes The Ballad” in its new rendition was performed originally under the title of “Tonight Is The Night”. This one-woman show features the lilting soprano of a national tour and musical theater professional. Her professional acting and singing career has taken her around the world as well as the United States. She’ll tickle your fancy as she takes you on a journey looking at life and love. She’ll sing a potpourri of fast-paced songs and of course her favorite, the ballad, written by composers such as Sondheim, Bock & Harnick, and Rodgers & Hart to name but a few. (We don't want to name this performer to protect her privacy until direct contact is made with the client. Thank you for your understanding.)

"A Touch of Opera" is a classy evening of arias and duets written by some of the greatest opera composers in the world. These gifted and talented singers will send chills down your spine and delight your senses. You can choose the number of performers you'd like to have for your event. Not only can you hire two singers but you can also hire a trio (3), quartet (4) or even a solo artist.
Our singers and instrumentalists bring with them a wealth of experience from the Broadway stage to international concert and regional work. They have been trained by some of the best schools and hold degrees in their fields. These performers are very talented and love sharing that talent and passion for what they do with audiences. Each performer has been influenced by many different performers and directors that have either come before them or they have worked with personally.
