Vocal Revolution

Vocal Revolution has been performing for audiences across New England and the globe since 1970. As a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), Vocal Revolution has been recognized for the last five years as the top chorus in New England and Eastern Canada, and has competed at the BHS International Competition in 2012. Quartets from Vocal revolution have been District Champions for three out of the last five years

Our 50 man chorus and our quartets sing four part a cappella music focusing on intricate harmonies with rich resonance and emotional involvement. We sing many different types of music including upbeat pop music, tender ballads, patriotic songs, spirituals and more. Our performances frequently include choreography and humor and we like to include audience participation to keep everyone engaged.

Vocal Revolution performs at civic and private functions throughout eastern Massachusetts. We sing at anniversaries, birthdays and block parties, as well as at local business, town and church functions, and industry conventions. Our Christmas caroling, singing valentines and annual show are seasonal specialties. Vocal Revolution also entertains senior citizens at facilities around the area.

Our members come from all walks of life, but they share a passion for fellowship, making good music together, and entertaining audiences. Vocal Revolution rehearses every Thursday evening at 7:30 PM at Temple Emunah, 9 Piper Rd (off Rt. 2) in Lexington, Mass., and guests are always welcome (see our Rehearsals page).
