Pastor J Teach and Preach what it really means to Wait. To wait as defined means to serve. to be a servant, to work , to function, to be of service. She speaks specifically to those who are working/serving in ministry no matter what area of ministry they serve in. The intent is to encourage those serving in the ministry to continue serving, to don’t allow anything to push them to the point of giving up, because giving up should never be an option for anyone serving in ministry. Pastor J talks to individual with passion, understanding their hurt or their concerns but showing them how to get back to work, back to serving.

Pastor J will activate her audience potential within, and bring them to a place where they don't want to always give up or give in. Pastor J's audience can expect to be motivated, revived, ready and equip to serve. Knowing that their blessings are secured in God. They will get the answer to their questions , the prescription for their frustration, the jump start they need for your passion, the antidote for their focus, the help ministries need to function properly and the aid for every Pastor dream for the perfect staff.

The life of Dr. Janet Turnquest, affectionately called Pastor J, is a fulfillment of the scriptures according to Luke chapter 4:18 and 19 which declare, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord”.

Born on the Island of Nassau Bahamas on June 22nd, 1970, into a humble family, to the proud parents of Mr. and Mrs. Winston Livingston Robinson. From her early years, she always possessed physical intangibles such as focus, consistency, diligence, ambition, a brilliant mind and a determination to succeed in life. Her ability to lead was always evident from a child. Grew up in a Christian home with her grandmother, the late Beatrice Rolle, taking her to church. At the age of 11, she was the church secretary for St. Savior Community Church. She worked in the ministry at a very young age, but later accepted Christ as her personal savior at the age of eighteen and became a member of St. Jude Pentecostal Church, where she went from an armor bearer and choir director, to a minister and then an ordained evangelist. Traveled extensively with Apostle Kelson Miller and with her friend who is now a Pastor, Dr. Pastor Michelle P. Crump, conducting revivals until she started preaching and teaching the gospel herself.

In the year 1993, Pastor J and her family moved to the United States. There she pursued her passion for ministry by going to bible school. The call of Pastoralship was upon her life. She went into Pastoring. Pastor J was ordained as a Pastor in 1995 and became the Co-Pastor and one of the founders of Salvation House of Praise Ministries located in Pompano Beach Florida. While Pastoring, she continued in school. From the time Pastor J hit America, she stayed in classes.

In 2003, Pastor J became a member of Changing Your Life Ministries Inc., in Fort Lauderdale Florida under the leadership of Dr. Hurricane Johnson, Bishop and founder. About a year later, Bishop, Dr. Hurricane Johnson along with Apostle, Dr T.G. Thompson ordained Pastor J as the Associate Pastor. Pastor J is currently serves as the Assistant Pastor of Changing Your Life Ministries.

Pastor J is Knowledgeable in the Word of God. As an ambitious Pastor, skilled in implementing progressive teaching methods, she stays current with study, community, outreach, laws and society. She Adept at successfully managing and structuring the church. A patient Pastor and Educator who collaborates successfully with members and staff. Specializing in structuring church and developing leaders. She is especially committed to leadership and to the covering of her church Changing Your Life Ministries. Pastor J is Open-minded and talented at incorporating services and church activities. She facilitates clear communication between members and coordinated all department functions for the church. Pastor J successfully planned and execute meetings, services and
special events. She carries the gospel all over the world. Ran one of the longest revivals in Ft. Lauderdale Florida called "Wounded Soldier Revival". She is the author of the book 'Wait on The Lord', Wait On The Lord Deacons Booklet, Wounded Soldier Study Guide and the up-coming book 'Behind The Armor'. Pastor J is a mother, a grandmother and the caregiver off her very own mother.
