Bigshot Records presents Nexus, the record label’s in-house Classic Rock band! This band was conceived by drummer Brian Choper, founder and owner of Bigshot Records, who is already known for having founded several successful bands over the past 20 years. Brian’s vision for Nexus grew out of his passion for great Classic Rock ‘N Roll from the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s through the Modern Rock era.

Brian teamed up with veteran musician Bruce Packett, a talented and charismatic lead guitarist and singer who with Brian dominates the band’s energy, direction and sound. Bruce shares Brian’s passion for great Classic Rock ‘N Roll from all eras where it is front and center, performing an expanded repertoire of the more energetic and complex songs from this period. Together, they form the heart of Nexus along with a bassist and rhythm guitarist who ad tonal dimension and melodic color to the dominant players, rounding out the band’s sound.

Nexus stands out from other bands because they perform popular and iconic Classic Rock songs that are craved by Rock lovers, yet rarely played live, as most bands simply cannot handle performing them in their true form. This expanded and technically complex repertoire makes Nexus a very exciting and fresh band that draws people to their live shows. The band is dedicated to totally rocking out, recreating the sounds, vibes and energy of the original bands that played this music back in the day. Their musicality and passion during performances makes their live shows thrilling, engaging audiences to be a part of the action by singing and waving along to the rhythm while filling up the dance floor!
