Overview
WashU Chaahat is an award-winning Bollywood Fusion dance team. We are a completely student-run and non-profit organization at Washington University in St. Louis that performs at various on and off campus events in association with Washington University. In addition to performing at Diwali, WashU's largest student-run show, Chaahat is part of a vibrant intercollegiate circuit and travels nationally to compete against other universities.
We also perform at private events. We can perform, lead workshops, and even choreograph a routine for your dancers depending on the type of performance. We are well-versed in Bollywood, hip-hop, and contemporary styles, and would love to work with you.

Chaahat is a student group performed for us at Washington University in St Louis. They were very easy to work with, low maintenance and gave a great performance! It would be a privilege to have them back.

Chaahat, meaning "desire" or "passion," represents our commitment to delivering vibrant and energetic performances that showcase the classic beauty and modern flavor of Bollywood using various dance styles.
Through our performances, we hope to bring you an out of this world experience and ignite the "chaahat" that lies within each and every one of us.
We give performances of varying length, and we also love giving dance workshops!
