Bay Area emcee Watzreal is considered by many to be “the hardest working rapper in the Bay Area." His debut album, “Wisdom Wit Attitude,” has been critically acclaimed by fans and labeled “one of the best debuts in 2015” by Underground Hip Hop. With his impeccable flow, raw energy and youth friendly lyrics he's gone beyond the Bay Area and into the hearts of fans around the world. In 2016, he's already independently booked and completed 5 tours, including his first solo tour. His musical journey has taken him beyond California to Seattle WA, Ashland, OR, and performing in Austin TX at SXSW. In less than 2 years, Watzreal has already performed in 800+ attendance venues and opened for Warren G, Anderson .Paak, BJ The Chicago Kid, Los Rakas, Kool John, Goldlink, Marc E. Bassy, San Quinn, Mr. Lif, and much more! With so much accomplished in such a short time, it’s easy to see why there has been a building anticipation for his sophomore album, “THE: The Human Experience,” dropping Nov. 2016.
Behind the music, Watzreal is a product of hip hop nonprofits. Having participated from (phone number hidden)1, Watzreal gained a foundation of the core values of hip hop—peace, love, unity and having fun. As a past participant, Watzreal was given one of the the first positions to work for Beats Rhymes And Life (the pioneer program of hip hop therapy) becoming one of the first graduates of the program. He now manages a foster care youth group in San Francisco helping youth process trauma through clinical discussions and the creation of rap music. Seeing depression effect his family, the youth he works with as well as himself, Watzreal uses hip hop as his therapy and encourages other people to talk openly about their personal battle with depression in hopes that they will see they are not alone.
