To have all details flow perfectly, the usual ceremony preparation involves 20-30 hours from start to finish for every event covering ceremony planning, preparation, communications, emails, work time, research, meetings, travel time to/from your wedding venue location, performing your ceremony, and the signing/registration of your marriage license documents with the State.

Any requested wedding rehearsals have an additional fee. Couples can conduct their own wedding rehearsal with
the venue planner or wedding coordinator.

YOUR CEREMONY SCRIPT:
Together we create and write a custom designed ceremony script for you both that can include the usual wedding traditions and rituals. We welcome your input, it’s your wedding day. We think and feel that the wedding ceremony alone is the most important part of the whole wedding event day. You are welcome to write your own vows. (Special Ceremony Rituals/Options can be added -these are only for the Traditional/Catholic Ceremonies)-please request this separate email.

Rev. Michael K. Carroll served in Chaplain Services of the U.S. Air Force as a Commissioned Military Officer. He is the Vicar General of Military Commissioned Officer Chaplains for the Diocese. He also held civilian ministry positions at churches and Monasteries. Rev. Carroll trained for years and is an experienced wedding officiant actually Ordained in person with valid credentials. He has completed College Seminary, Graduate School in Philosophy & Theology Studies, and NOT from the internet.

He respects all spiritual and religious traditions including serving the non-religious or atheists. Over 30 years of experience is old enough to have the acquired experience and wisdom, and yet young enough to have a sense of humor to be flexible with the wedding script if needed for a couple's ceremony. Rev. Carroll is a sought-after wedding Officiant and an engaging speaker. He is both serious and witty and makes the ceremony a joyful celebration of the couple! Deacon Ken, who was also ordained in person, handles all administrative functions and serves as Master of Ceremonies during the ceremony. This two-men approach works well in making sure that all details are covered so that your wedding ceremony is over the top.

Audio/Microphone:
Reminder/Very Important - Outdoor weddings can have lots of background noise, especially on the beach (people, wind, waves crashing, bird sounds, planes, just lots of noise, etc.).

On the day of your Ceremony, if possible, please have one hand-held wireless or wired microphone for our use, (NO clip-on mics), so that everyone can hear your ceremony. Your wedding/reception music provider normally can provide this for you. The hand-held mic is used and passed around to different people who are speaking during your ceremony, such as: myself for introduction, Bishop Carroll, all Readers, and especially the two of you, when say your wedding vows to each other. We want everyone to hear what is being said.
