Wellington is so hilarious! He is phenomenal at what he does!

We booked him for my mom’s 60th surprise birthday party, and he kept everyone - young and old - laughing and engaged the whole time. He worked both sides of the room brilliantly. The 100+ guests didn’t want it to end, and my mom absolutely loved his style, humor, and delivery. She’s still raving about his performance.

I absolutely loved how Wellington was able to incorporate details about her into his set to make it feel very personal. His comedy was clean, fun, and it was perfect for a diverse, multigenerational crowd. He made this event one that my mom and all the guests will not forget!

We invited Wellington Juku to come and do a comedy show for an event that celebrates the volunteers at our church. Kareem 'Plug' Chapman and Ms. B. (two other Gig Salad comics) kicked off the night by having our guest in tears long before Wellington finished us off with pain filled laughter! All three comics made our volunteers feel loved and appreciated. Our entire church would recommend Wellington for any event that you need to have a good laugh. I am lucky enough to book and work with Wellington often. He’s always a solid performer who elevates the quality of every show regardless of his role or place in the line up. Not only is he a talented comic but also extremely professional and easy to work with. But what I appreciate about him the most is how he makes a point of sizing up the crowd ahead of time and adjusts his set list on the fly to make sure the audience has a great time and making sure I (as the Booker) looks like a genius for putting him on the show.

I have booked Wellington several times to close my Limerick Comedy showcase in Virginia-Highland, and every time he leaves the crowd in hysterics. His material is super-relatable, and both young and old people in the crowd crack up at him. I also have seen him perform in front of club crowds and corporate crowds, and he is as versatile as a comic can get. Can't recommend him highly enough, and if I ever need "a sure thing" on a show I call Wellington.

The company that I work for just had a Christmas party that was quite unique. There were several things going on at once (eating, drinking, dancing, entertainment, drawing for prizes, karaoke) so it was busy, to say the least. I hired Wellington to host the event and he did not let me down at all. He was very flexible, positive and helpful the whole time. Unfortunately, I kept changing things up on him, but he handled it with so much grace and just went with it. And he even wore a santa suit while doing it!
