Wendy was Amazing!! We hired her as entertainment for our Company Christmas Party. She was absolutely hilarious! We had an employee causing some issues and Wendy did a great job shutting that down so that the rest of our staff could enjoy her show! The jokes were fire and she kept our staff thoroughly entertained the entire time! I would absolutely bring her back again!!!
I hired Wendy to start off a toast before the speeches from the guests. It was a surprised I purposely setup for my husband on our wedding day. I didn’t recognize her when she came and sat on the table close to us. My husband thought she was a party crasher or a plus one until she got up to speak. She had the guests laughing to the story of me and my husband relationship. He got a good laugh out of it and still remembered some of the things she said. A job well done!

We hired Wendy for a Holiday Party that we were finally able to hold. Due to Covid reasons we were unable to hold this annual event for the last 2 years. She did an outstanding job. She came to us from 3 hours away during a snow storm which shows she is very dedicated to fulfilling her commitments. She went right along playing an old friend of mine who just happened to be available. I gave minimal info on my friends. she came in and aced it. We were nervous if a virtual comic would be able to hold our attention after a year of Zoom meeting- but Wendy was fantastic. We had a survey afterwards and she got highest remarks from the attendees. It was a virtual party for employees and their families and she did a great job of being family friendly but still made adults cackle.
We can't wait to bring her in person when we can do live events again. I highly recommend her. She was super easy to deal with and prompt in her communications.

Wendy gave our organization a much needed laugh and a fun change to the monotony of Zoom meetings! I worked with Wendy to detail out who our group is and made sure she knew that we would possibly have some kids there. The show was clean, yet still hilarious to adults. We loved how Wendy interacted with the "audience" so that it didn't just seem like we pushed play on a video of someone doing comedy. I have seen Wendy a few times in person as well as this virtual show, and make no mistake, Wendy is the real deal!

To start, Wendy is hilariously funny. She has become my bar in which I judge all other comedians!
I was planning a 3-day, industry specific, educational conference and needed something fun for our attendees to finish out their first full day of programs. I hired Wendy to do stand-up. I received rave reviews for bringing her in!
In total I have hired her on two different occasions and have recommended her to other event planners who also booked her and loved her.
Things I liked about working with her behind the scenes: She is responsive. She will tailor her delivery (keeps profanity to a minimum) for your crowd. She can banter with the audience in a fun way and is not rude.

I'm a military brat who was made in Japan and have lived all over the world.
For comedy to be most engaging, it's great to have a stage, dim lighting in the audience who is sitting as close together as possible, with a clear view of the stage. The performer should be lit by a spotlight (or general stage lighting) the mic should be tested for volume levels, and the mic and stand should be in the center downstage, with a stool nearby. Water in a glass with a straw on the stool is great.
That's optimal! If your venue doesn't allow the lights to be adjusted, the minimum requirement is a mic and speakers.
