Imagine yourself on the day of your event at the moment the band is supposed to play. The house music is cut off, everyone's head comes up and looks around, and there is a pregnant pause that happens when a large group falls quiet.

Then, Westrock band kicks off with a tune that rips through the silence. Eyebrows go up and people smile at the familiar song being played, "Check Yes or No" by George Strait. Immediately toes start to tap, conversations are revitalized, and the couples cautiously flirting start to make jokes about dancing.

As the night goes on with hit after hit, popular song after popular song for all ages, the energy starts to build and swell. Suddenly, the classic rock song "Taking Care of Business" comes on, and what had been a small dance floor now seems to hold everyone out moving to the music.

People can't take their eyes off the band because, although the songs are familiar, the charisma of the guitar player, the jokes of the lead singer, and the beauty of the fiddle player are constantly drawing and inviting people to relax, enjoy, and loosen up their inhibitions and wallets.

Westrock has opened for three Nashville acts in Colorado Springs in the last six months and has become a regular at the Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards' Venue of the Year, The Whiskey Baron in Colorado Springs.
