Wine Vinyl is a cover band, providing an exciting, fun-filled night of non stop entertainment. We are NOT a garage band and will not play for $400. Please see quote expense on page before inquiring. We are professional, world traveled band who has worked with major artists. Want to hear Fleetwood Wood Mac and sound like them? We are your band, not every song sounds the same. The band covers all genres from Country, Classic Rock, R & B, to current Top 40. Available for Corporate Parties, Weddings, and private functions. We had the pleasure of having Wine Vinyl play at our wedding reception. The band was outstanding - very professional, friendly, and they sounded amazing. Everyone was up and dancing and those that aren't dancers got to sit back and enjoy the music. We had so many positive comments back from guests saying that it was the "best wedding ever". Wine Vinyl truly brought the party to our reception. We couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. Thank you, thank you!

Wine Vinyl played for our wedding at my dad’s property outside. Everyone was dancing, singing and having the best time with all the great music played! I have been asked to write a testimonial on behalf of the band Wine Vinyl. I am more than happy to do this and I should add that I am receiving no compensation. Nor, are any of the members of Wine Vinyl close friends, relatives or patients of mine.
For many years, I have been asked to arrange the entertainment for the annual Christmas Perth County Medical Society Dinner Dance. By popular demand we have now enjoyed Wine Vinyl for 4 consecutive Dinner Dances. In addition, I had them play at my daughter’s wedding reception in November 2013. She was skeptical of my choice since there were, of course, to be a lot of 20 and 30 something friends in attendance and she was sure that the band would be a retro band that reflected the tastes of older attendees.
She was delighted to discover that the band could not only reproduce the sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac and Michael Jackson but that they were equally at ease playing Adele, Daft Punk and Maroon 5. In fact everyone from age 25 to 75 found themselves, at some point, on the dance floor and some dancing fools never left it. A great time was had by all.
My good friend Dr. Eric Thomas (a dancing fool) hired Wine Vinyl for his 20th wedding anniversary party after hearing them at our dinner dance. I was lucky enough to be an invitee at that event as well.
I know from personal experience, with my own band in the 70’s, how difficult it can be to play to a diverse audience and to get them involved in the music. Wine Vinyl has honed this skill to a fine art. Because they have 2 strong singers up front, a guy and a gal, along with very good back-up vocal support and great musicians, there is little that they cannot play. In fact they often take requests - before the event. So if you have a current favourite, run it by Jace, David, Tony or any other member of the band and in all likelihood they will have it ready for showtime.
Apart from the great musicianship, the band is very professional. They show up on time for the sound check and the performance. They are very affordable, giving truly great value. In addition, they look great on stage. They are attractive and dress appropriately and behave appropriately for the particular event they are playing. What more can I say. If your budget will let you hire Bruno Mars then go for it but otherwise I would go with Wine Vinyl every time.

Biography:
Rick Roach- Drummer
Bio: Rick Roach was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, lived in British Columbia and now lives back in Woodstock Ontario where he grew up. Rick plays various instruments from Drums, Guitar, Bass, Piano, Banjo and sings as well. He has been playing professionally for 32 years and has played genres from Classic Rock, Pop, Country, and Blues. Rick has had the opportunity to tour most of Canada and central/southern US with various bands and noted Nashville recording artists. As well as touring, Rick has spent time in various recording studios across the country and has also had the opportunity to develop writing skills and has contributed several songs both co-written and solo penned for various Canadian Country recording artists over the years. His co-writing efforts have gained recognition on Canadian Billboard Country music charts taking 2 of his collaborated efforts to top 20 in Canada, USA, and Europe.
Michael Fisher- Bass Player
Bio: Michael has been playing the bass professionally since age 17 playing country, musicals, jazz, blues, and more recently R&B and soul. He also teaches dietary Chinese medicine, Western Nutrition and therapeutic cuisine alongside his career in music.
Dave Carrey- Male Vocalist
Bio: Born in Toronto and raised in Stratford, David`s passion for music goes back many years. After a two decade hiatus from the music business to pursue a career in healthcare David is very happy to be back doing something he loves.
Jace Tapp- Female Vocalist
Bio: Jace is from a small town in Kentucky, USA! Jace started singing at the age of 5 in a Southern Baptist Church. Growing up Jace listened to Country Music. Throughout the years she has learned many other genres of music, to experience the different ranges vocally. Jace is very excited and proud of Wine Vinyl and being a part of her first band.
Since she has started with this band she has done many different featured songs from Donna Summers to Rolling In The Deep by Adele.
Tony Rozic-Pianist
Bio: Performer, director, composer and instructor Tony Rozic has been involved with music professionally for over 20 years. Between performing at the Montreaux Jazz Festival to being a Musical Director for The Second City Comedy Troupe on cruise ships Tony has been fortunate enough to live a life surrounded by music. He now wants to share his love and passion of music with people of all ages.
Our band has an assortment of musical backgrounds.
Some of the members have been on tour and have also played in local pubs or events in Ontario.
