Speaker, trainer, executive coach/consultant related to diversity competence and cultural intelligence.
All my speaking, training, & coaching are tailored to the desired outcome of the client. I focus individual to organization; focusing on the individual within the organization and how they feel about themselves, what they do, and their role within the organization impacts the organization.
Whether it's change management, diversity celebration, or expanding the cultural competence/intelligence skills within the organization, it all comes down to the individual.
Contact me today. Let's talk about what I can do to solve the problems and/or meet the needs of your organization.
With Respect
Leah is a force to be reckoned with. “Her Story” challenged each of us to re-think how we can use “Our Story” to change our lives and to relate to others with respect, with compassion, and with new and enlightened perspectives. Leah is professional, honest, funny and down to earth. She brought us new ideas in thinking about the diversity and negativity we encounter in our daily lives and in how we can relate to those around us.
She set off a spark in each of us and we left the workshop understanding that we can re-write our own personal stories and experiences to open up new opportunities and create success for ourselves and others in both our personal lives and our work lives.
I highly recommend Leah as a speaker, a motivator, a leader for any organization who wants to invest in their employees. Our employees loved her!

As a speaker or trainer, Leah is authentic and provides rich learning and humor within the context of topics such as team building, violence & bullying prevention, improved interpersonal and professional communication, conflict negotiation, personal development, and the full array of what is often called “diversity” and/or “cultural competence.” Everything she does and says is done with the intention of full respect.
Her innovative perspectives and engagement with her audience make her perfect for keynotes, conferences, professional development opportunities and workshops. She has worked with non-profits, law enforcement, juvenile justice, education, businesses, community based organizations, and government agencies.
Not only can Leah think outside the box, she facilitates others seeing the possibilities and “positivities” of being there too. Her speaking and teaching style is one that allows for self-discovery at a deeper level. All of her presentations, from 45 minutes to two-full days, allow participants to walk away with skills they can use immediately. She prides herself on her ability to meet people where they are and take them even further than they ever thought possible!
Additionally, Leah provides systemic solutions as a mentor-coach to all levels of service organizations to ensure the needs of diverse peoples are met and exceeded. Her experience includes professional and organizational development, consultant services, individual coaching, and systems analysis and restructuring.
Leah’s deep passion is driven by her life experience and belief that all people can play nicely in the sandbox. She holds a BA in psychology, M.Ed. in Education/Special Education, and an almost PhD in Educational Leadership & Administration. She also holds an honorary degree from the School Hard Knocks and Rise Above University.
I like to have technology available - the ability to use a projector (I bring my own laptop).
A lapel mic, if a mic is required, is best. I'm not a stationary presenter. Please have an effective sound system!
I always use an easel with a white board or a large white board on the wall because I use active learning and that requires being able to write and draw for clarity or expansion or fun.
