Magic has never been more popular, and with the huge success of movies like Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter, now is the time for wizards! Rock Eblen has been performing his special brand of magic many years. His self-created character WIZAR is truly a unique experience for kids and adults alike. One moment he’ll quote Shakespeare while producing coins from your ear, and then make sponge balls multiply inside your own hand! Because of his theatrical background he feels the emphasis should be on colorful presentation and amusing “patter” to embellish the visual effects of his magic. You can tell by the way kids follow him around. “Show me that again!”
Wizar did his magic show at my daughter’s 9 year old party at a park. We had children aged 3-12. The children were mesmerized and adults had lots of fun too. My daughter asked me after the party if Wizar does 10 year old birthday parties too! She loved it❤️ Highly recommend!
Wizar was easy to communicate with and captivated everyone at my six year olds birthday party.
I really appreciated how easy it was to correspond and coordinate with Wizard. He came on time and gave a splendid performance for a wide range of children. Event the adults enjoyed themselves and laughed out loud several times! Thanks Wizar.

Having lived in Los Angeles for many years pursuing a music and film career, ‘Rock’ Eblen returned to his native Asheville to write and produce his own shows. His first full production was ROCKULA! A VAMPIRE MUSICAL in which he directed and played the title character. Other productions included JC SUPERSTAR at Diana Wortham Theatre, and his original piece PINK LADY GROUP at Asheville Arts Center. He then mounted THE WHO’S TOMMY and produced, directed, and acted in RENT which sold over 700 tickets during one weekend. He followed with FOOTLOOSE the MUSICAL, Tony Award winning SPRING AWAKENING at Asheville Masonic Temple, and Pulitzer Prize winner NEXT TO NORMAL at ACT’s 35below. For 3 years he created the annual ASHEVILLE FAERIE ARTS FESTIVAL at the Renaissance Hotel, and PIZZA PANDEMONIUM at Highland Brewing Company. Recently he created two music videos about school bullying (YouTube) All of Rock’s productions have been benefits for his family’s local charity.
