We are an authentic Folk band that plays originals of Mary Pierce, traditional tunes as well as Folk classics (such as Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Kate Wolf and James Taylor). Our lively fiddle and guitar combination along with superb vocals (and harmonies) make for a great vibe for any event! We have played from private settings, summer festivals, fundraisers (Narragansett Towers), and ticketed shows (upcoming event Casino Theater, Newport RI-April 28th, 2023). Mary has recently won a top Singer/Songwriter's award with the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival and WBCN radio. Looking forward to the next show!!

Biography
Mary Pierce, Singer/Songwriter of Celtic/Folk/American music shares her original and inspiring music through her 4 albums. Born in White Plains, New York and raised in Connecticut and Rhode Island, her lively music is “inspired by the beauty of nature and the human spirit that shines in all of us and is what connects us all. “Her soothing, clear voice with Celtic-type qualities, has been compared to Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant, Joan Baez, and Joni Mitchell. Mary’s passion for writing can be heard throughout her music, and has been inspired by many of the women folk artists of the 60s and 70s. She performs her originals along with traditional tunes, and Folk classics of Joni Mitchell, Kate Wolf and James Taylor.
The 2022 Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival (PMFF) and Folk Revival Radio WICN awarded Mary 2nd place for one of her original songs. Mary has performed extensively throughout the U.S. and has recorded with several international musicians.
