Yara Oriental Dance

Yara is ready to make your event memorable. She specializes in family friendly and culturally appropriate performances. Customized performances featuring different styles of music and props included but not limited to the traditional veil, zills (finger cymbals), shamadan, and cane. Yara does not dance at bachelor parties.

Yara Sultan is a high demand Middle Eastern Raqs Sharqi "Belly Dance" Artist in North Carolina. Performing locally and beyond, Yara performs weekly in private events such as Weddings, Cultural Dinners, Restaurants, Hookah Lounges and more. The customers seek Yara's performances locally in their towns and also are known to travel 1-2 hours to see her shows. Her clientele keeps her schedule busy and it is recommended to schedule Yara well in advance to accommodate your events.

As a performer, Yara strives torepresent the culture, art, and dance respectively in each event. She listens to her client's needs and spends many hours choosing the appropriate music, and selecting the right costume, props, and mood. Yara has studied, traveled, and trained in the Raqs Sharqi (Oriental Dance "Belly Dance") throughout the USA and Istanbul, Turkey. She continues to stay current on current dance scene overseas and in the US, and continues to train her skills in dance by attending workshops and classes online and abroad.

Yara also a licensed esthetician, and is professionally trained in the art make up application - so expect a well-presented Dancer to arrive at your event.
