Josef Silvia is a balloon artist and a magician. He offers quality balloon animals at an affordable rate for your birthday party, event, or social gathering. Josef is also a magician and can supply his magic act as part of the birthday parties. His tricks will make your children laugh, stun them, and he never leaves without teaching children 2 tricks they can perform themselves. As a balloon artist, Josef will stay for the allotted time and will make any number of balloons he is called upon to make. He specializes in large group events and birthday parties for young children.
Josef took (phone number hidden)4 off from Balloon Artistry to focus on personal matters. He is happy to return.
He was in the event on time and kids had lots of fun with his balloons. Thank you!
Josef was outstanding. I highly recommend him for any event.
YFE was very nice to the children. A pleasant person for sure. Sadly, most of the balloons broke before the night was even over. Lots of sad children.
Response from YFE Balloon Artistry:
Thank you for your review! We at Yellow Fun Entertainment want to know that we're doing a great job and your feedback is so valuable to us. We're sorry that you experienced an issue with balloon breakage. Unfortunately, in cold weather, the high quality balloons we use may break more easily. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve all your fun needs.
Josef was incredible with the kids and provided such fun balloon twists for them! A charity event for the first event for Bikers Against Bullies, USA in the Northeast and Josef will be sure to be with us again! Thank you Josef for your professionalism and generosity in time and spirit! Your balloons spread the word in our community! Thank you and Best, Revenant Cycles and the BAB gang!
Excellent service! Arrived on time, stayed a little later than the 2 hours and made multiple balloons for the kids and adults. Thank you!
The kids were thrilled.
Josef is a great addition to any function! He is great at doing classic balloon work, from swords to flowers to princess hats and dogs. He even stays current with things like Minions! He interacts well with the children and spends time with each one. He is reliable and very affordable, I would have him work with us again!
Joe is so great with kids!! As a dad, I always want my son to experience exciting things in life. Josef's balloon artistry is top notch and his ability to connect with the children in fun and exciting way is truly a gift! He is totally affordable and incredibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend for your next event and will absolutely book him again!
Josef is a guy that loves making balloon animals and loves kids. It's quite evident in how he approaches his work. Ours is an annual two-hour community event during which he has a constant line of children all waiting to receive a balloon animal, and he treats each with the same care as the one before, never even asking to take a break. He entertains and he delivers exactly what they want. You can't go wrong hiring Josef to work your event.

We offer an uninterrupted time of balloon making, with a list of balloon animals for children to choose for certain parties/events in which there are a lot of children. This is especially helpful with large events, such as Dedham's annual Trunk or Treat that Josef has been apart of since its inception in 2012.
Josef can make many balloons, ranging from simple (like swords and dogs), to flowers, hats, and even Spider-Man and Minions (especially helpful since those will be major characters in movies this year).
Josef also offers a magic show, which is usually 10-15 minutes long. He begins with simple tricks and even teaches one, which almost fools the audience into thinking there isn't much to see. But every trick afterwards builds until the final trick that usually makes children scratch their heads and asks him to "perform the trick again." If you hired Josef for one party, and he did his Magic Act and hire him again for another party and want balloons/magic as well, he will make sure to utilize different tricks for each of those gigs (which he usually does anyway).
Josef has been a balloon artist/clown for over 15 years. He began prancing about as Charlie Chaplin when he was 16, which after a few years of impersonating one of the greatest characters put to screen, Josef created a clown character called Harry. He used this character at his dad's church and in Bible College when he interned at various churches, always utilizing Harry the Clown for special events. He would create animal balloons, do tricks, etc.
After graduating college, many people asked Josef to reprise his clown character at their churches without any form of reimbursement. So, he began Yellow Fun Entertainment to protect his act and anything else he would later do. During his first year in business, Josef realized that many people did not want a clown for their kid's party but simply a balloon artist and perhaps a few magic tricks as well. This is because many of the clients had children too young for clowns, or the clown makeup (while not intentional) can be scary to some children. Being able to put his client's needs first, Josef created the Balloon Artistry Division of YFE in early 2013.
Josef has been a children's pastor, tutor, children's play director, writer, and actor. He fully believes in entertainment for children and families that not only uplifts the individual but puts a smile on their face. It is his aim that with a simple balloon or Magic Show, he can put a smile on someone's face.
Josef really doesn't need anything technical, but rather a good working space and a chair if he's hired to simply make balloons. The chair is mainly to make sure the balloons have a place, as Josef generally stands during much of his time (easier to make balloons while standing). Also, if you ask him for a magic act, please have a small table available for him to use.
If hiring for a large event in which you expect a great deal of kids (anywhere from 30-100), please make sure the space you have for Josef can accommodate a line. At large events or birthday parties, it is easier for children to take turns standing in line rather than sitting around him and raising their hands.
I was always influenced by the great clowns of history (Chaplin, Laurel, and Bozo), but there was a man who used to come to many church events who had a great deal of influence on me as a child. He was a clown, he would make balloons for us or simply talk to all of us in character. He's one of the few people from my childhood who I may not know their names, but I remember everything he did. And how he showed me how I too could be a clown and entertain other kids. I also had an older couple in my church who taught me magic tricks when I was in the 5th Grade, and it brought me out of my shell. These people were heroes to me. I never forgot what they did for me.
And now, I have the opportunity to use the influences in my life to bring a smile to someone else. And I consider that an honor.
