Absolutely amazing! Had a great phone call in preparation of the event. She arrived early! Worked quickly! Everyone loved her and her drawings! I will definitely be booking her again!

Shelley joined us for a company party and she was such a hit! She was extremely personable, very friendly, and her artwork was phenomenal. She even stayed a little late to grab a couple of stragglers who hadn't had a chance to get their caricatures done yet, which was so nice. Shelly created caricatures at our social event, and she did an amazing job. She was quick, cheerful, everyone loved their picture and had a souvenir to take home! She was easy to communicate with and was always responsive to my questions or concerns. In addition, I hired her son to come along and to do AI Caricatures and those were so cool! I think it was his first event, so there were a few hiccups, but he totally redeemed himself and everyone was beyond excited to have one printed up. Not to mention, you won't find a nicer guy than Andrew. They were both so popular with the guests, that we ran out of time and both of them went above and beyond to make sure everyone was able to get one. I highly recommend hiring either of these two for your event, you will not regret it.
We held a surprise 40th birthday party for our sister and we are SO glad that we booked Shelley! She did such a great job and is so talented, she is also quite the trooper because she was very for the moment she got there. Everyone was so excited to so their caricatures and sharing them with each other. She was also very easy to coordinate with so kind.

Shelley Redford Young
YOUNG AT ART, began her art studies at the Watts Atelier in Encinitas CA, and at the Florence Academy of Art in Firenze, Italy. She holds foundational degrees in portrait, landscape, still life, and figure painting and drawing. Currently the assistant art director of Visual Art Institute in SLC and Utah County, Highland Utah. Shelley loves instructing as much as making art. She teaches courses in Caricature at the VAI
Any Caricature artist needs good lighting, but I do have my own clip on lights if it gets dark and we're outside. Also chairs should be provided about 4, incase a family wants their Caricatures done altogether
