Zidj is a progressive rock band formed in San Antonio, TX, in 2011. After a lineup change in 2014, Zidj reformed with original members, Jey Rod (Guitar/Vocal), Daniel Ray (Bass), and mutual colleague Joshua Vera (Drums).
Sonically driven, the instrumentals are a pulsating dark vibe mixed with beautiful guitar melodies, while the vocals blend in reserved yet determined, with lyrics that tell a tale.
Since 2015, Zidj has been recording their newest albumn, “Jakolb Act I” and is set to be released as early as 2017. In 2016 Zidj released their latest single “Atoma” along with other pre-released tracks that follow the story of Jakolb Act I.
