Overview
Zupe is a professional entertainer, specializing in music from the 1940's through the 1980's. His one-man show consists of singing and playing piano, trumpet (and sometimes accordion), to music that Zupe has pre-recorded himself, giving the audio illusion of an entire band on stage! With a Vegas-style persona and a pompadour that would make Elvis envious, Zupe captivates his audience with grace, wit, and incredible music performances.

Zupe was amazing with his performance! I invited him to our first picnic to perform for our residents at Harmony Hills. Zupe interacted so well with our residents. They still talk about how much they loved him everyday! We will absolutely have him back for more!

Zupe came highly recommended, and he exceeded my expectations. we booked zupe to perform at an open house event for a senior living community. gig salad made the entire process simple, and it allowed for easy communication and less stress. Zupe puts on a great performance singing while playing the piano and even some trumpet. all of our guests were asking about the singer and our residents enjoyed the show. we will be inviting him back soon.

We had Zupe preform for my husbands 40th birthday party. The theme was 80's and Zupe single handedly made the party. He was on-time and so entertaining to watch. Zupe entertained the residents of Wynwood House, where my Uncle Harry is a new resident. We hired Zupe to entertain for my Uncles 96th Birthday. My husband and I are responsible for booking the bands for the Cotillion Club of York, a formal dinner/ballroom dance club. We heard about Zupe from some members and decided to check him out. We knew before the first song was over that we had to have him play for our club. He is a Club favorite for his music and his engaging personality on and off the stage. Attendance is always high when Zupe is performing. With good tempo, music selection, and the sound of a multi piece band, Zupe is perfect for the serious ballroom dancer, but also knows how to keep things light for those who want to get out on the floor and just have fun or sit back and enjoy the music.
Doing business with Zupe is always easy, efficient, and a pleasure. On one occasion a band cancelled at the last minute. In a panic, I contacted Zupe to see if he could fill in. He was very busy on a dance cruise that he was conducting but assured me that he would be home in time to play on the scheduled night, a real life saver!

We own Indian Lake Resort located in Pennsylvania. We have booked Zupe on many occasions through out the years. He is the only performer who continues to pack the Lounge every time he performs. His variety of music attracts both young and old. His one man band sounds like a five piece band. Would highly recommend.

Zupe emceed and entertained at our wedding reception, exceeding everyone’s expectations. It was a classy, low-key affair in a museum, and he surprised us by playing the museum’s grand piano in addition to his own instruments. He is truly a gifted musician and performer! He read the crowd and chose music accordingly and took requests. He even got people up and dancing, which we didn’t expect. Nearly 5 years later, we still have wedding guests rave about his performance when they see us. As a result, we asked him to perform for a Military promotion party and college reunion event. Words can not adequately express our high recommendation of him!

I never imagined a single artist could sound so full and do so much. Zupe pre-records all his accompaniment including vocal harmony so that he sounds like a nice size band and does a great job of it. If you were not looking at him on stage you would think there were 4 or more band members up there. He also provides an excellent mix of music with tempos that are excellent for Ballroom Dancing. He is a great all around entertainer.

What to Expect
Zupe brings old-school, Vegas-style class and wit to shows that can either be concert performances, or dances. He dresses the part, talks like a Rat-Pack aficionado, and - most importantly - PERFORMS.
Whether he's singing the songs of classic Las Vegas, hits from the 60s, music to ballroom dance by, or even a classic rock & 80s show, Zupe promises to ENTERTAIN and not just be another singer.
About
Zupe is a musician and vocalist who has been entertaining audiences, of all ages, for more than three decades. In his act, he bemusedly explains how “corporate downsizing” forced him to eliminate the other musicians in his band, leaving him alone with his computers and keyboards. But if one were to listen to Zupe while blind-folded, one would find it hard to believe that only one musician was onstage. In fact, he pulls off the “whole band effect” so successfully, many people mistaken Zupe for a deejay or karaoke.
To say Zupe is a singing piano player is true ... to a point. And it's fair to say he can play "Misty" with the best of 'em. But the true Zupe experience is so much more than that.
First, there's the technology. On stage, Zupe sounds like an entire band - drums, guitars, horns, even harmony back-up singers! And all of this aural magic starts at Zupe's home, in his recording studio. To make his arrangements, Zupe uses his computer like a glorified tape recorder.
After Zupe works out an arrangement for a song, he'll start recording each of the instruments - one at a time. Usually, he starts by playing drums and having the computer record it. Then, when the computer plays the drum part back, Zupe will play the bass and the computer will record that, also.
And so it goes, one instrument at a time, until Zupe has an entire band playing back (save for a few parts he'll perform on stage). And, instead of bringing the computer on the road with him, he uploads his musical arrangements to a tiny little player that sits neatly atop his piano.
As far as the music goes, Zupe plays anything danceable, from Sinatra to Santana, and everything in between. People simply cannot resist the urge to dance when Zupe takes the stage. His audiences range from corporate events, area retirement homes, ballroom dances, to house concerts. And everyone leaves with a smile! Zupe is most proud of the fact that every venue he has played has asked him back again.
He’s an entertainer who understands his audience. A musician who has combined his computer knowledge and synthesizer prowess with his innate talent to give an extraordinarily unique performance. An excellent showman, musician, and vocalist who truly loves his audience ... This is Zupe!

Zupe uses a Bose L1 Model 2 system for P.A., which covers up to 300 people. If using a house system, Zupe requires (2) direct boxes for his balanced stereo outs on his mixer. Would also need (1) floor monitor, in this situation.
Stage footprint is no less than 10 ft (left to right) and 6 ft (front to back).
