We certainly appreciated that Abby was willing to sing the National Anthem for us at the last minute. Abby is an amazing singer and did an outstanding job singing the National Anthem. We were blessed to have her at the ceremony.

Abby Sevcik is a singer-songwriter currently based in the Washington, D.C. area. Abby's music, inspired by the music she discovered during her time in Nashville, back home in Iowa, and now in the vibrant city of Washington D.C., strikes a poignant and powerful tone in her wide range of compositions. Accompanied by her jazz and pop-influenced piano playing, her lyrics and vocals embody a soulful and unique sound that can be linked with a variety of musical tastes. Her success stretches beyond the recording realm into her live performance ability, as she showcased when opening for Grammy award-winning artist Daya. Her most recent performances include the National Anthem at Capitol One Area and the 2017 Cherry Blossom Festival. Look for Abby at the upcoming DC All Stars Music and Arts Fest on July 14th, and singing the National Anthem at Nat's Stadium Labor Day Weekend.
