I pride myself on being on time, and easy going with everyone I work with. I always feel good about being able to help make things go smoothly during the evening of a performance or day in the studio. Even when I perform with The Dickies, D.I. or The Adolescents, they always know they can rely on me as a professional drummer to do my part.
“I auditioned Adam Gomez against many, many drummers when my previous band at the time was in need of filling the big legendary shoes of my previous drummer, Dusty Watson (Dick Dale/Lita Ford/Agent Orange). Never had I been so floored at a drummer audition- Adam completely nailed all the challenging material in one take and did it better than all of em'. It was a pleasure to bring him on tour across Europe, kick ass with him on stage, and to work with him in the studio.” - Bonnie Buitrago (Bassist, Nashville Pussy)
Adam Gomez was born and partially raised in Los Angeles, CA spending most of his childhood in Echo Park and El Sereno, LA and then moving to the Inland Empire. He was always surrounded by many cultures and musical backgrounds while maintaining a love for Punk and Metal.
After starting Metal band Jahmbi just out of high school, Adam performed live for several years before deciding to earn his percussion degree from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. Since then, Adam has recorded, toured and collaborated with artists such as The Dickies, The Adolescents, D.I., The Motel Life, Tommy Peacock and others. “The Dickies have been through many drummers throughout the years, but Adam G had the best audition, by far. He almost had me at hello. Within 30 seconds; I knew he was the guy.” –Stan Lee (Guitarist/Co Creator, The Dickies)
Education is a huge part of kickstarting Adam's career as a professional musician. After Graduating from M.I., he has been teaching drums in the Inland Empire, and continues to hand down the craft of precision, intelligence, furiosity and touch of a professional drummer to the new generations of kids with the desire to make music and art.
Easy. Simple. Fun. As long as I have 20 seconds to talk to the monitor guy about striking my drumsound from my monitor, and making sure guitars and vocals are up, It's gonna be a perfect night. If I don't get that opportunity, I will always adapt.

Great music! I am not just tentative to drums in music. Things that provoke any real emotion is what influences me.
There are some bands that are very special to me that have forever changed the way I see and hear music. And i'm sure everyone has those special bands that have affected them in such a way that music becomes forever close to their hearts and psyche.
