Adeena Mignogna is on a quest to encourage others to develop a love of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math… through a love of science fiction!
With degrees in physics and astronomy, Adeena works in aerospace as a mission architect (and has worked as a software and systems engineer). Beyond her technical expertise, she is a long-time science fiction geek with a passion for inspiring others. Her writing explores themes such as robots, aliens, artificial intelligence, computers, longevity, exoplanets, and virtual reality.
Adeena's work on lunar and cislunar missions provides her with unique insights into the future of space exploration. She seamlessly blends her real-world knowledge with her imaginative storytelling, making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging.
An accomplished author, Adeena has written a standalone novel, Lunar Logic, and the popular four-book Robot Galaxy Series. Her stories, inspired by science fiction greats like Asimov and Scalzi, resonate with fans and newcomers alike.
Adeena is also a dedicated podcaster and co-host of The BIG Sci-Fi Podcast, where she discusses Star Trek and other science fiction topics. With over a decade of experience in Toastmasters, she is a polished speaker who has captivated audiences at numerous science fiction conventions.

The majority of my talks include a slide presentation and I'll typically bring my own laptop PC to present.
However, I'm flexible and have customized presentations in the past to suit the circumstance, to include ditching the laptop and using props (like a blow-up Moon) instead!
