My name is Will Dudley. I am a professional kora player, and jazz guitarist. The kora is a West African Harp. It's a beautiful, rhythmic instrument - unique and accessible!
I typically play acoustic guitar, mostly soul and jazz covers and simple classical pieces.

I wasn't sure where else to put this information, so I'm posting here.
I mainly wanted to say a huge THANK YOU Will, for being the soundtrack to both of my kids' births. I met you briefly in 2018, as you played beautifully at the PDX airport. I was pregnant with my first child at the time, and had been thinking about what kind of birthing experience I wanted. We all know how powerful and centering music can be for creating a mood and tone, and the moment I heard you on the kora, I knew that's what I wanted to hear while welcoming in life!
I told you at the time that I would be listening to your album Wulokono in the delivery room, so here I am a few years later, letting you know that you were listened to in the delivery room for both kids. The nurses each time also commented on how peaceful, inviting and inspiring your music was. You have been a huge positive influence on my life and the life of my family.

Will Dudley is an excellent musician, and specializes in an unusual instrument, the Kora. It is an African harp, basically. We have seen Will several times, and look for when he is playing. I think anyone could enjoy his music. In fact, we liked it so much, we had Will play at our wedding! It added an elegant touch.
I saw William play at Elk Cove winery in November and it was easily the best part of my experience there! Breathtaking music and a very talented performer. I’ve sought out more of his performances around Portland and they’ve all been wonderful. He’s a very friendly guy who always creates a beautiful atmosphere with his music.
