Al Mcalpin

Alvuh was born in Chicago, Illinois to the proud parents of Freeman and Mary McAlpin. He is one of five children, who has realized the benefits of having parents who encouraged them to always do their best in life.

When Alvuh was twelve years old his parents decided to buy a piano without any formal training, Alvuh immediately stared playing melodies and chords and writing songs, Shortly thereafter he began to sing the songs that he wrote and before long he started to form bands and singing groups. Eventually, he would find himself singing on stage and on television before screaming fans.

Alvuh has written for artist such as O'brien, Warner Brother's Altitude, Songs of America Compilation Album, One Accord, Essence, God's Children and many more..He also sang background and lead vocals on many of these projects, including the song track for the Mike Tyson story for Home Entertainment Group.

In 1977, as Alvuh's secular career was taking off, he came visit to the University SDA Church, with his sister, Sheryl. He freely admits that he only meant to visit and then make an exit, but God's Holy Spirit had other plans for his life. Alvuh's visit to God's church has turned into a life rooted and grounded in Jesus!

Alvuh has dedicated his talents exclusively to the building up of God's Kingdom and has traveled to many different places spreading the gospel through song.

Alvuh is the husband of one wife Alma, and the father of two Children, Shaquille And Francine.

Alvuh's mission is to tell anyone who will listen about the Love that will never grow old or die. The Love that can save anybody, anywhere, anytime-the Love of Jesus of Jesus Christ!
