I am a professional trombonist with a Master of Music from New York University (NYU), and a Bachelor of Fines Arts in Trombone Performance from City College of New York and Michigan State University. I have studied with trombone masters such as Michael Dease, Andrew Williams, Jason Jackson, Wycliffe Gordon, and David Gibson. I have rich experience in both performance and teaching, and I am always looking for more opportunities to make great music.

Alejandro was born in Buenos Aires Argentina and shortly thereafter moved with his family to Santiago Chile.
His family then immigrated to Queens New York when he as 10 years old.
Alejandro started playing trombone at the age of 13 and was mostly self taught until he started taking lesson in Binghamton University where he majored in Marketing.
Almost done with his degree, Alejandro decided to transfer to Michigan state to pursue a degree in Jazz where he studied with his idol Michael Dease.
Unfortunately financial restrictions forced Alejandro to transfer back to NYC, where he enrolled in CUNY City College and eventually received his BFA in Jazz studies
Alejandro has studied extensively with trombonists Michael Dease, Andrew Williams and Jason Jackson, and has also studied with other musicians such as Wycliffe Gordon, Marshal Gilkes, David Gibson, Steve Wilson, Mike Holober, Scott Reeves and others.
Alejandro's passion for music has, against all odds, pushed him forward to accomplish his dream of becoming a musician.
