Currently not booking any events. Unfortunately my family had a house fire and all my gear was destroyed.
Alex Speller plays the hits from over 4 decades of the billboard top 100. Infused with his signature style, songs find new life and people are compelled to dance and sing.
Can fill up to 6 hours and offers multiple formats to fit your event.
1. Solo Acoustic (quiet, instrumental acoustic guitar versions of songs you know and love)
2. Singer/songwriter (Guitar and singing, more upbeat music)
3. 1 Man Band (Songs played with a looping station to build a track that sounds like a full band)
Rates may vary by event, distance travelled and any special requests asked of the artist.
Alex is so talented! Blew us and our guests away. He truly made our event so fun and was kind and flexible enough to stay an extra hour because we were still having so much fun!
Alex truly wowed our guests! We have started hosting live music at our restaurant and Alex fit what imagined perfectly. He has a diverse music library and knows exactly what to play to match the mood of your environment or party. I would highly recommend him and we have already booked him again.
Price Range: $200-800
Gig Length: 60 - 360 minutes
A wide variety of music that spans many decades and styles. A clean cut performer who engages the audience and can turn a party into an event. I use professional grade gear and have been playing music live for 20 years, in all settings you can imagine.
Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. I cut my teeth playing in pop punk bands and cover bands. I had been a working musician in Dayton for about 15 years and moved to Lexington, KY last year (2021), got a "real" job, and quickly realized how much I missed playing poorly lit, musty bar rooms. So I started searching for gigs or musicians to play with. It was through GigSalad that I booked my first gig in Ky and I now play at the Merrick Inn about twice a month on Mondays.
I can be a utility player as I play multiple instruments and sing. Most of the time I find that bars and restaurants are looking for "musical wallpaper", I will gladly play those gigs but I definitely prefer an engaged audience!
If you decide to book me as entertainment for your event I will be, on time and dressed accordingly. I provide a PA system and hours of entertainment for your friends or guests. If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message. I am usually very quick to respond.
Rates are negotiable, but like most things in life, you get what you pay for. I have cultivated my skills for over 25 years and I always want to make sure I give my clients their monies worth.
I'm easy, I bring everything I need. If you have a power outlet, I'm all set.
