Hey there! I'm Alex, and I've been doing caricatures for almost 20 years now at all kinds of events like weddings, proms, and parties! I'm fast, accurate, and friendly, and want to help make your next event memorable!
I'm quick to setup and quick to draw. For most busy events, I do black and white, and can get through about 16-20 people an hour, averaging out to about 3-4 minutes per face, but can also do color on request. I can even fit up to 5 people on a page! I've had a lot of positive reactions to my work, and my clients have often become regulars.

Alex exceeded my expectations! From the communication before the event, to the banner he created for the drawings on every single caricature drawing for the guests, the detail Alex was able to capture in all of the drawings of the guests right down to the interaction with each and every guest he drew. All the guests at our event were blown away by Alex's skills. I was shocked at his ability to keep up with the never ending line, I honestly do not know how he kept up! And when there were a few more to squeeze in, Alex was OK with staying over a little late to make sure everyone was able to get the keepsake of one of his amazing pieces of art. Several people talked about having him for their family reunions. He really captured not only the portrait, but their personality. He talked to everyone, adults and children alike Will certainly use him again. Well worth the cost. He did a lot of portraits, no one left without sitting for him. He is priceless!

Alex was an awesome addition to my childrens Birthday Party. Every child was excited and very patient to sit and wait for Alex. I highly recommend him, his artwork is amazing and every image he drew looked exactly like that child. He was child friendly and went above and beyond to make this a special touch for their party. We asked him to stay an extra hour because he was such a hit to make sure everyone was able to ge their picture drawn to keep for memories.

I have a quick, simple setup. I bring my french easel and set up a sign on top of it that details my info and the time I'm drawing until. I arrive about 20 minutes before I am to start drawing to set up, and then start right when I'm scheduled and don't stop until I'm done. Once I get going, I almost always stay busy!
I can draw about 15-19 people an hour, depending on hair, beards, or clothes. That averages out to about 3-4 minutes per face! My drawings are then placed in flat, plastic bags for protection. I don't require any supervision while I work, and can work in any kind of environment, quiet, loud, outside, inside, or even in the dark, as I have some lights I bring with me just in case!
I started doing caricatures back in 2005 at Cedar Point, OH while I was going to art school. After I graduated, I moved down to Tampa and worked at Busch Gardens. After hitting a few other amusement parks I eventually found my way back to Pennsylvania and settled in Bethlehem to work at Dorney.
I finally left the amusement park business to get a graphic design job in 2010. Worked at a local brewery for a few years before getting a job at Crayola. Now I just do caricatures on the side, and am busy most weekends! It's a fun side job, and allows me to be creative and talk to people, two things I love!
All I need is three chairs, and a cozy corner where I'm not in a way, I supply everything else! Very simple!

I have worked with so many different talented artists at different parks around the country, and all have helped to influence my style both on the paper and with customers. I trained new artists, and attended the International Society of Caricature artists convention several times, where I have won various awards, such as "2nd place best retail/party style" and "3rd place, world's fastest artist," and "1st place, best body situation." I have also given a few seminars/guest speeches regarding my work.
