Alpha 1 Arts —founded in 2015 by Alpha "Arts" Frierson—is an independent arts and music collective. We provide live visual art and music services, as well as programming to the central and southwest Ohio area. We also provide virtual concerts /serenades/solo artist/bands upon request.

For what I wanted, he definitely gave it his all. My platforms wasn’t working at first but once we figured that out. He gave us a true blessing and we cannot wait to have him in a live performance cause it was so elegant and mind blowing. My husband smiled all night and didn’t expect a thing. My husband def is a hard person to surprise but this was a level 100 for him and he will talk about this forever. He was so relaxed after this beautiful show that we almost didn’t make it to the next event. We will be booking him for live shows in the future for this was an honor to her his artistic sounds. Thank you so much Alpha. Can’t wait to hear you again.

Alpha Arts is a great professional he performed at my wedding as my bridal party was coming down the aisle. He also performed as the guest were being seated, he is phenomenal!! We gave him a list of R&B and pop songs to perform and he truly help elevate our wedding. I look forward to building a relationship with him and hiring him to perform at future events! Very professional, understanding, went above and beyond for short amount of time.
I cannot explain nor adequately describe the professionalism that Alpha1Arts displayed during the event. There was a miscommunication with another saxophonist (previously hired) and he handled it with grace and style. He was very attentive and his cool, calm and collective demeanor allowed me to move around with ease. I did not have to check in with him every minute because he knew exactly what to do. If you are looking for someone, look no further. I highly recommend him and I will definitely be utilizing his services in the future!!!!!

I hired Alpha1Arts for my 22nd wedding anniversary gathering. Earlier this year we loss our son, as well as my husband found out he needed a kidney transplant. I wanted to give my husband a surprise to lift his spirits, and a night for our family to remember. We had a New Orleans Mardi Gras theme...and Alpha1Arts was the epitome of New Orleans Jazz, as well as spirit filled melodies. EVERYONE at our gathering had an amazing time. He was kind, professional, and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My guests are still talking about the wonderful jazz melodies Alpha1Arts provided. I HIGHLY recommend his service. Price Range: $ 350 and up
Gig Length: 60 - 360 minutes
Solo gig
Generally expect unlimited songs for the duration of your program or event. Depending on how long ,there will be most likely a 15 minute break or two. Solo gigs will have personal sound system with accompaniment music via a computer or sequencer along with a cordless mic. I like to interact with people as well.
Group gig
Generally expect unlimited songs depending on how long the gig is 15 minute breaks. Usually three to four members, saxophone, keyboard, percussionist, and bass; but not limited to other musicians.
Song request, live entertainment with guest if they choose. A once in a lifetime non-forgettable enjoyable event.

I've been influenced by Most major styles of music from country to Jazz the gospel Etc. I come from a musical family located near Cincinnati, Ohio Zone 15, Loveland, Avondale Etc. Of course the greats Sonny Rollins John Coltrane contemporaries Grove Washington David Sanborn Oh, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson Prince Etc in the list keeps going. . Definitely big influence by my father, musical mother and church.
Depending on the number of musicians. I have my own sound system. Can never go wrong if you have a professional. Stage and professional sound person.
