Overview
Amara brings joy, beauty and excitement through dance for your unique event! She will work with you on special requests (music, program, costuming etc) to best fit your needs.
A typical bellydance show lasts 20-25 minutes with time for photos after. This can be longer/shorter if needed. Shows include a variety of props such as veil, wings, finger cymbals and assaya (cane) depending on the event.
Bio: Amara’s passion for bellydance started in her hometown of Dubai, where she first started learning the art of bellydance in 2006. She now performs Egyptian style belly dance in the DMV area and is available for a host of different parties such as weddings, birthdays, and special events.

Amara is excellent. I hired her to give a performance at our wedding. She worked with our style and accommodated all our requests. She was on time and gave an excellent, beautiful performance. She got our guests to get up and dance and our party got even more festive because of her performance.

Amara performed for my wife’s 40th and she was amazing, we requested special song and she accommodated that. She got the guests involved and did special song with all the ladies. I had to find her at the last minute due to cancellations and she was very responsive and arrived on time.

What to Expect
We will set up a free consultation call to assess your needs and preferences so I can best curate a show that works for your event and audience.
Dance show:
A typical set lasts 20-25 minutes and can include a variety of props such as veil, wings, finger cymbals and assaya (cane) depending on your program.
Music:
A show set consists of a grand entrance song, a folk/classical song, a pop number with audience interaction (if requested), a sizzling drum solo and a finale. Music will be curated to fit your event and audience. If you have special requests we can work together to make it happen!
Costuming:
Costuming can be discussed to ensure it fits your event vision from grander costumes for weddings or more conservative costumes for cultural events.
Add-ons:
Additional show set for longer entertainment can be requested. A costume change will be included.
Group lessons for parties can also be added on.
