My husband and I hired John for our May 2016 wedding, and we are so glad we found him! He was so easy to work with both leading up to the wedding and on the day of. Our guests loved him and his music selection, and we loved him for helping us stay on schedule and making sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend him and would hire him again in a heartbeat!

This is the only DJ we use for our events! John and all of the DJs are always on time, professional, and entertaining! Highly recommended for any event that may need a DJ service.

John did a DJ and Karaoke set for our Company Holiday party! His services were beyond amazing! Our Employee's were up dancing the whole time, singing to many karaoke tunes and overall enjoying the holiday party! I have never had so many employee's tell me what a great time they had at the Holiday party and it was all due to John's DJ Services! A PLUS!

After much thought do to budget constraints, we did finally book the photo booth, and we are so glad we did! Our guests really loved it, and it made our wedding reception so much fun! People of all ages participated, and John made us an fantastic memory book we will cherish! He was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend!

VERY IMPRESSED by this company that was referred to me by my DJ & I am so glad they did! Cheapest price I found out there & the service was extremely customized down to the photo strips background matching our wedding invitations. Prompt email communication & customer service. All guests at my reception only had very positive things to say about using the booth & interacting with the attendants sent, as well as having a blast using the wide variety of props they brought for the photo booth table. Let me not forget the memory book that they created during the event by putting copies of guests photos into a book & having the guests sign by it - much more fun & memorable than a boring signature book. I would & already have recommended this company personally to many people if you want the best bang for your buck!

We were so thrilled with the karaoke DJ provided by An Affordable DJ for my daughter's graduation party. He was accommodating, pleasant and played great music. There was a wide variety of musical tastes at the party, from hard rock to show tunes to Top 40, and he was able to accommodate all of us! We were thrilled with the music, the karaoke, and the overall experience!

Affordable DJ made our dream day even more perfect. The hall was uplit, the music was so good that everyone was dancing the entire time, and the photo booth was a huge hit. John was very easy to work with and very accommodating to our needs. His use of Google helped us to create a song list and time line for our reception, as he also helped out with some suggestions. I highly recommend Affordable DJ. Not only are they affordable, but they are also top notch.

John did an awesome job at our wedding!! The shoe game at our wedding was a hit along with the photo booth that we had through him!! He even was quick to change something for me with little notice at the wedding and was very happy with that!! John was very easy to work with, friendly, professional, and went out of his way to interact with our event guests and make them feel comfortable and welcome during our event. Photo Booth set up was easy and efficient. The props that were provided added to the fun of the event. John worked with us to design our own photo strips and we were provided with digital copies as well. We were highly satisfied with the overall experience. I am so happy that we booked An Affordable DJ for my daughter's Halloween Party. John Hobdy, the owner of the company, was kind and very professional to work with. The DJ who came to the party, Kevin, was absolutely wonderful. He asked for songs the kids wanted to hear, played all of them, took requests, and they absolutely loved him. All the kids asked to have him back next year. He was pleasant to work with, on time, and did a wonderful job. I could not have asked for a better DJ experience.

John, the owner, was absolutely, positively FANTASTIC. True to his company's name - he's very affordable! My husband and I were looking for a reasonably priced DJ for our wedding and that is how we found John - but it was himself, not his prices, that had us sold! He is so kind and helpful and was willing to make any changes to the itinerary as I came up with them! The music he played was fantastic, he kept people on the dance floor the whole night, and I am pretty sure almost every single one of my guests, at some point, got on the dance floor and it is because John is awesome!! He also provided uplighting in my event space and made the room look beautiful!!

First thing I loved about John was that he met with us in person, twice. You won't get that out of a lot of DJ's. He was meticulous in making sure he had our sometimes difficult names pronounced properly and he involved us every step of the process through a pretty brilliantly set up spreadsheet that we were able to fill in and modify at our leisure even up to the day before the wedding. He was a fantastic MC and he kept everyone on point through the whole reception and kept both families dancing all night long. We had a blast, and we highly recommend him to anyone needing an affordable DJ. All the value, none of the obnoxiousness, and all the professionalism you expect for your wedding or event. Even the French judge would have given him a 10. Thanks John!

An Affordable DJ, just did our daughters wedding on Saturday evening. They were so easy to work with. Everything was perfect, and went as planned. The photo booth was a nice addition as well. Would highly recommend them.

We had Affordable DJ services for our wedding reception. He was easy to contact and communicate with before the reception. He was more than willing to stay as long as we needed him. He took all kinds of requests for opposite genres of music. Everyone had fun, will definitely use again!

John was absolutely great. Everything went as planned. He entertained a group of 100 16-17 years at a duo Sweet 16 party. Everyone raved about the music. We will be using him again for a graduation party.

We hired John for a small wedding and he was outstanding. Nothing was pushed on us and he was able to answer all our questions. Outstanding communication, great set-up and fantastic music. He was able to give us whatever songs we requested and had great suggestions. None of us knew anything about how to do a wedding or reception so John became our resident expert. He made the event a success and everyone there loved it. He also taught us a really cute game for the bride and groom that had everyone in hysterics. And he did it all for a very affordable price.

John was amazing! He was willing to work with every crazy idea I came up with! We needed him to be in the barn during dinner and cocktails but outside after that and he set up two places and just switched out quickly with no fuss noone even noticed that he moved! John was absolutely great! While I was stressing out about all of the other aspects of the wedding, I never had to worry about the DJ because John kept in touch and all emails were responded to in record time. On the big day, John was awesome. He was able to put together a list of songs that suited us perfectly. We had a small reception site and John helped us to make the best of it. Our friends and family are not big dancers, and I appreciated the fact that he did not hound everyone to get up and dance, we may have had a small amount of dancers, but those who were up there had a blast. We had to change plans several times within the night and he did not get flustered; rolling with the punches, even taking special requests from the wedding party! We appreciated his flexibility and the pre-reception consultation to make sure everything would run smoothly. We can easily say without his professional approach and ability to make adjustments on the fly, our night would not have been nearly as incredible as it was.

He was completely proffessional and cooperative, we changed things probably 100 times and he was ready everytime I couldn't have asked for anything better!! We hired John for my daughter's wedding reception. From the beginning until the end he was very professional. I had many people tell me he was the best wedding DJ that they had seen. He came with a set playlist that was prechosen but was willing to change as the requests came in. He even adapted the evening to accomodate a few karaoke requests and stayed later because noone was ready to leave. I highly recommend John!
