My name is Andrew Coulter, and I am available to play bagpipes at various events and venues of your choice!
I am a Professional Bagpiper and a member of the Grade 1 Saint Thomas Alumni Pipe Band that competes at the highest level of competition in Scotland every year. I have played the bagpipes for over 20 years, and I have piped at many events. I attended the United States Military Academy where I was the Pipe Major of the West Point Pipes & Drums. I graduated in 2015 and served in the the United States Army for 6 years. After the military I moved back to Texas and I live in San Antonio. I am available to play in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, or anywhere in between!

I have been playing the bagpipes for over 20 years. I started in 4th grade at St Thomas Episcopal School in Houston, TX. Highlights were winning the Grade 3 North American Championships in Canada in 2008 and placing 3rd at the Juvenile World Championships in Scotland in 2010. I have also completed as a solo piper, winning various competitions throughout my career. After high school, I attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where I served as the Pipe Major and Cadet in Charge of the Pipes and Drums band. Throughout my 6 years in the Army, I continued to play the bagpipes. Currently, I live in San Antonio, TX and I play in the Grade 1 Saint Thomas Alumni Pipe Band in Houston, TX.
The main requirement for the bagpipes is that I will need a place to tune my bagpipes prior to the actual performance. I will need about 5-10 minutes to do so properly. Other than that, it is a fairly easy set up and no other equipment is required!
