Equipment may be provided by me or a piano may be provided by the venue. Our group always arrives early for setup so that the music may begin on time. Please share any suggested dress code so the band can sound good AND look good. Themed parties are also welcome.
Andrew Stephen is a pianist, composer, and producer from St. Louis, MO. He has performing in St. Louis for several years in a variety of settings including major concert venues, festivals, private events, and churches. As the son of an accomplished pianist and composer, Andrew began his musical journey at a young age. In addition to early studies with his father, Andrew has studied under Tony DiPasquale, Jeff "Doc" Taylor, and Tim Garcia before pursuing a degree in jazz studies at Webster University under the direction of Carolbeth True. Andrew is the owner of Eightfold Studios, a recording and mixing facility in St. Louis. He has arranged, and performed on numerous records for local, national, and international artists ranging all styles from pop, jazz, r and b, rock and beyond. Currently Andrew is finishing his studies in Jazz Piano Performance and Music Composition at Webster University.
For an extra fee we may provide a PA system that may be used the event including an aux cable for music provided from an mp3 device.
Set list includes a wide range of Jazz standards. We can also include requests submitted before the event. Fees may change depending on the amount of requested material.
