We hired Andrew for two events--one magic show over zoom, and another for a 300+ person holiday party. He was on time, professional, and hilarious! I like to bring the funny, and magic is my chosen foundation to build ridiculous jokes upon. I'm quick on my feet and love interacting with the audience during the show. Guests are welcome to become part of the performance so no two shows are exactly alike, but I have a script in place that keeps things moving and bookends the performance.
My full show can run anywhere from 30-75 minutes, depending on the needs of your event. From backyard patios and living rooms to large stages and conference rooms, I can adapt to any setting. I also offer strolling magic, where I move from group to group and perform shorter sets in a close-up setting. This can happen on its own or as the precursor to a longer stage performance.
I'm always aware of the time, location, and all other important requirements to make events run smoothly and on schedule. With years of solo performances under my belt, I'm efficient and self-reliant, allowing you to focus on your attendees.
I've appeared on HGTV and The Game Show Network, and I'm currently appearing in a nationally televised ad campaign for H&R Block - as a magician! I'm a regular performer at the Magic Castle and Black Rabbit Rose in Hollywood, as well as the Chicago Magic Lounge. I've also performed for corporate clients including Netflix, Adult Swim, the Children's Hospital of Orange County, and the New York State Council of School Superintendents. I was a child theater actor, and I did stand up comedy for 13 years, much to the dismay of my parents.
When I'm not crafting magical miracles, I write for television and have worked on shows for Netflix, Nickelodeon, and Freeform; I currently work on the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood starring Cedric the Entertainer. As a result, I've been convinced to perform in multiple writers' rooms, delaying production but delighting everyone involved.
I own two cats and I drink a lot of hot chocolate.
