Biography
Angela Sullivan was born in New York City, and began her violin studies in her second year of High School, where she attended The Performing Arts High School. She graduated The Mannes College Of Music, and was accepted as a scholarship pupil to Heifetz protege ,the acclaimed virtuoso violinist, Erick Friedman, she has since performed solo throughout NYC and many other places. She performs regularly in NYC,and also has a private teaching studio where she teaches beginners through advanced, Angela Sullivan has a very wide variety of interest, enjoys performing in various different venues,she has a chamber group she performs with regularly, as well as a jazz trio The Manhattan Jazz Trio. She is the lead violinist for "The New York Classical Music Ensemble" was the featured violin soloist in, "Fiddler On The Roof", Broadway Shows include Oklahoma, Camelot, Performances Include: Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Alice Tully, Saint John The Divine, Riverside Church, Saint Batholomew's United Nations ,University Club, Plaza Hotel, Four Seasons Palace Hotel, Tavern On The Green, Rainbow Room, Swing 46 For many corporations, such as American Express, Creative Services,Douglass Elliman, CNBC. she has also played at many weddings, parties fundraisers etc.

Hi Angela,

Hoping you are well… I just wanted to thank you again for being available on July 30th. I heard you were playing quite early and the guests were delighted walking into the church with the beautiful music. All were complimenting what a nice addition it brought to the ceremony and I loved that you were able to sit in front of the church. We wanted to set an intimate mood for the service and I think the strings had a lot to do with it.
