Jazz vocalist, Anita King has a voice that is described as mature, elegant, smooth and meodic, some even say, "she has a voice of an angel." Her vocal qualities in combination with skilled manipulation of rhythm and vocal range contributes to her popularity in local jazz clubs. She has provided back-up vocals for Bobby McFerrin, Herbie Hancock, BeBe Winans, Leslie Gore, and Dallas Austin for the PBS special "An Evening with Quncy Jones." In 2009 for President Obama's Inauguration festivities, she provided background vocals for Mariah Carey, Shakira, and Bruce Springsteen. And, she joined Springsteen again at Super Bowl XLIII singing background at the "Halftime Show".
