The Special Event Music is a music collective of finest classically-trained musicians working in California and Pennsylvania. We are available to perform wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, holiday events, anniversary parties, corporate events, or any other special event. We have a vast repertoire of classical, popular, traditional, and sacred song selections for you to choose from. The wide array of combination of piano, flute, oboe, strings and harp played by master musicians creates a rich, beautiful sound that is sure to add elegance to any occasion.
We booked a cellist and violinist for our wedding and it was some of the best money we spent. Katya was great to work with and they made sure to play every song I requested for my ceremony BEAUTIFULLY! If you are thinking about booking Arev, DO IT!!!
We booked a strong trio for our Christmas event and they brought the evening up to the next level. Everyone was so impressed to walk in to live string music. They were so fun and great to work with!

We had this string trio play for our entire Victorian Christmas Tea and they were the absolute highlight of our event. Katya worked diligently with the myself and the Vocalist to coordinate the appropriate time for the violinist to play at my mother's funeral mass. Katya regularly communicated with me and the Vocalist to confirm the time, place, music selection, and asked for my feedback. Olga was the violinist and she played beautifully. Her violin accompaniment at the dove release was

Wonderful music and much appreciated by the guests. Would like to have had them alternate breaks so there weren't short periods without music, since there were two musicians. Still great. The picture on the website shows three musicians and only two are included. That was a little confusing and disappointing for the cost.

First off, Katya was incredible to work with. She was so accomodating and flexible, it made a world of difference. She was extremely helpful and understanding while I was mid all the planning for the event. The performers were fantastic. We had an American Revolutionary-themed event and they were all willing to put on costumes for the performance. They did a great job both in their performance for our Reception and for our dinner. Very professional. I would highly recommend them.
My wife nd I celebrated our anniversary at home - just the two of us. Katya and Olga provided us with the perfect musical accompaniment for our home-cooked lobster dinner and champagne. They were very professional yet friendly and excellent musicians. Would be happy to have them come again. Thank you!
