You are treated to a 15 minute set of specially chosen music for your event. You will get modern, traditional, and folkloric dance from Egypt and other areas of the Middle East. It is also an interactive show. Ariyana strives to present the dance as you might see it in Egypt.
Ariyana's shows include a classic oriental dance, prop usage, drum solo, and a chance to dance for yourself. Some options for shows can include Khaleegi, Melaya Leff Dance, Cane Dance, zills/sagat, Wings, Veil, double veil, balance tray, shamadan and/or Shaabi (street dance).
Ariyana was introduced to Egyptian Dance (bellydance) in 2007. After moving to Japan, she began at the famous Lapis studio in Tokyo. She appeared in many restaurant shows and large events featuring superstar dancers like Dina and Soraia from Egypt.
Ariyana has learned from an array of international dance artists. She has taken numerous intensive course with Hadia and Gamal and Khaled Seif. She is Level One Teacher certified through Hadia. She placed second in the Tokyo International Bellydance Competition for the non-professional category in August 2014.
She continues her studies with Khadijah of Colorado, Aziza of Montreal, and Nisaa of St. Louis and is an avid learner of all things bellydance.
Ariyana will provide her own music on CD or MP3 player. The venue must accommodate the media. Music includes Egyptian classics to pop, drum solos, and prop usage. She will work closely with you to create a memorable show for you and your guests.
