Whether you are a jazz fan or just a music enthusiast, Art's creative arrangements of jazz standards and popular classics are sure to make your event a success.
We hired Art to play guitar at our garden party and he did not disappoint. Not only was he prompt and professional but incredibly flexible. We had several downpours during our party and Art had to move several times over the course of the party. He continued to play his guitar, providing perfect music for conversation to flow and smiled through it all. I highly recommend Art.
We were hosting a dinner event for some clients and wanted to provide live music as a nice touch. Art was incredible! Our guests were able to enjoy conversation and listen to beautiful music at once. I highly recommend Art for your next event!
Would use his services again in the future. Art did a great job. Varied repertoire of music styles pleased all of our guests.
Art provided background music for our event and he selections were perfect. He was pleasant, professional and patient! We would work with him again in an instant!
Thanks Art for adding the special touch to our event.

Currently in steady rotation on internet radio stations that include CD101.9, Smooth Jazz NYC, Smooth Jazz Mix New York, Radio Guitar One, Smooth Jazz DC to name a few, Art Boffi a New England based jazz guitarist that has been sparking interest and turning heads since arriving on the local music scene several years ago. What makes this musician so unique is his well thought out arrangements, and the creative intertwining of musical ideas on each piece he plays. Not one to rely on electronic devices to create background accompaniment, Art possesses a sophisticated harmonic sense and the ability to create melody lines, rhythm and bass figures, and when appropriate, percussion sounds which adds fullness not usually associated with unaccompanied guitar. For wedding ceremonies, Art will also employ a 21 string harp-guitar that will surely add a unique and elegant flavor to your special day.
Whether it is a modern take on jazz standard or a jazzy twist on a popular tune, his complete mastery of 'fingerstyle' technique brings a remarkable new quality to the art of solo guitar playing.
