Ash Lee is a native of Southern California. Los Angeles Times calls him “Outstanding” Opera News says Ash has “a voice of winning purity and variety of expression” San Francisco Chronicle calls him “Sweet-toned and Ingratiating” Noted for his soaring tenor and warm stage presence, his most recent engagements include: Invisible Cities with The Industry, Candide with The Los Angeles Philharmonic, and, The Festival Play of Daniel with Los Angeles Opera. In these first few years of his professional career Ash has become a sought-after vocalist for new works and experimental projects working closely with composers from across the country including, Lewis Pesacov, Bruno Louchouarn. Christopher Cerrone, Anne LeBaron and many more. Recently, Ash had the honor of singing The Star Spangled Banner to sold-out audiences at both Dodger Stadium and The Staples Center as well as command performances at Los Angeles City Hall and other prestigious venues in the Southern California area. Lee studied vocal performance with his teacher and mentor, Dr. Peter Atherton at Chapman University.
